Just wondering because it hit me hard while I was playing around with my Gunslinger playthrough (all handguns and SMGs only, this time with Fast Shot trait) and as I leveled up to 16, I began to shift through the perks, reading them till I stumbled upon this lvl.20 perk. Seems pretty basic at first, and might be avoidable because of the idea of having your limbs crippled could be irritating, but the more I thought about it, the more I see it as a potential end-game perk. It does have it's negatives, yes, thus making it very specific on what playthroughs you can go through with it. My suggestion? Chem-happy playthroughs make this perk essential or extremely useful, seeing as Steady gets rid of the cripple swaying in the arms, and Med-X has been said to remove the hobbling effect when crippled in the legs, along with stumbling by torso shots. Logan's Loophole just got a bit brighter.
Another playthrough I notice this could be helpful is a Heavy-Handed playthrough (a person who relies on the Heavy Handed Trait). With it, you can get an even higher boost in damage, which you can easily negate the slower movement speed from the crippled legs with Travel Light perk (or again, with Med-X+Chemist). With all body parts save the head, you essentially crap out +50% more damage, without even touching Psycho, Yao-Gaui meat or any other damage-increasing items.
I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this perk and ACTUALLY used it?
