How did you come up with so much? Did you just buy all the property ingame?

Yes, basically what I did is what Miller suggested. I did jobs until I could afford a Pawnbroker. Buy them, they are the golden ticket. If you want to buy others until then, only buy shops. Houses need repairs, and if you have many of them, it can get hard to go and repair them individually. (Even though you can do it in the map screen, I can't be assed to go through it) so I just buy shops.
When you've bought all possible shops, then begin with houses, namely the ones in Millsfield as they are the best ones. It's not too hard, I would imagine everyone would have a similar amount by end-game.
Edit: If you want some to get started, I don't mind giving it. Really, Im a generous man.
Spoiler Using the same method, Im going to do all the 'good' king options, yet transfer money so I have enough to sustain the attack. It's going to be so awkward.
