Fable 3 in a week : Othor Games

I don't understand all the hate for Fable 2. I played both 1 and 2, and enjoy them both about equally, with Fable 1 probably being the one I enjoy more.

But, anyways, since I don't have an Xbox anymore, I'll just play 3 at a friends house

I got it and finished in on the 360. I found it pretty fun but not worth the full price. Might want to wait for the price to go down a bit.

I'll probably get it, but nor right away. Half decent RPG games that suffer from way too much over hate. Seriously, it's not as good as the marketing, but they are still an enjoyable game. Try tell people this and their heads freaking explode.

I actually thought Fable 2 was garbage and Fable 3 was pretty good. And thats also coming for someone who religiously played the first fable.

Lionhead = Style over Substance, so no. I think I'd rather wait until a certain obscure game comes out in November. :tes:

No. I have it for the 360 and I find it to be very goofy. Controls are weird. Gameplay is weird. Game is too linear.....I don't like it very much.

Great. I just remembered that this game has Fry and Cleese. Now I'm heavily swayed to the must-buy-side.

Take my advice and don't. It has the worst writing I've seen in a "triple A" title in years, the art style has taken a massive step back from Fable 2 (yaaaaay now Fable is grey like every other game), playing as a bad guy svcks now (the story treats you like a good hero regardless) and the combat is just clunky.

I'll get it eventually.

I don't follow all the Fable bashing, I think the games are damn fun and the world is beautiful and humorous.

I used to agree with you.

But then Fable 3 happened.

I still play and adore Fable TLC and 2 to this day. Fable 3 has been gathering dust since I finished my first playthrough.

Well IGN just posted their review and gave it a 6. Yikes. They said it's "A Royal Disappointment".

Ouch. They gave the 360 version an 8.5, and the PC version was meant to improve upon some of the games faults.

I'll get it when it's cheap on Steam. I loved the first Fable, enjoyed the second Fable a lot as well, but the third... I dunno, I never bothered to finish it. I'll get it and finish it on the PC, but I wished that they had released Fable II for the PC as well.
The series has been going downhill for me. I probably won't be getting Fable 4 when it's released either, but wait until it's cheap for that very reason.

What are you expecting from the game? It was released over 6 months ago on 360 and it was trash.

It hasn't been officially confirmed yet but Molyneux has stated that he wants to make it and has big plans for it. Then again, coming from him that doesn't mean much.
