Face customization in skyrim

Does anyone think it needs to get any better?

I personally fin you can make pretty much any archetypical type of face you want with it, I've made so many characters that have such unique personality to them. I think this is where Skyrims character customization succeeds where all other games fail.

Sure, other games may give the option to toggle and refine very specific parts of the face, but I think giving us a diverse set of artictically designed face "pieces" and then letting it go to player to mix and match gives us much more distinct and unique faces than letting us mold every piece specifically.

Sure, some of us may be so artistic than can envision unique facial features and imagine things so specific and elaborate that they can work out their design with a system that allows them to mold every detail from the ground up, but I think designing pieces for us and allowing us to mix them makes it easier for those of us with less imaginative perception, rather, the work is done for us.

The only way other than adding more hairstyles I guess that the sys tem can be improved, is if they give us the same thing but add fine tuning as an option for those among us who really want something completely of their own igenuity. But mods on pc already gives us exactly that.

I just think in terms of facial construction, bethesda really delivered on skyrim. Oblivions customization while it may have seemed amazing at the time as this was a new thing in games, in retrospect it was absolutely terrible. The system had a way of creating faces that looked good fronm the front, but bewitched them from the side view in ways you couldnt really fix no matter what you did.

I think skyrims system in and of itself was nearly ideal.

Anyone agree or disagree?
