Face issue

Not sure if this is the right section of the forums, but I'm having trouble creating my characters face. I start a new game, set the race to High Elf and:

As you can see, half his face is a bit messed up.
Is there any way around this?

Erm.. I don't see anything wrong.

If you're referring to the darker skin on the right side of the face; it's just the lighting. I think once you get out in the open it will be fine..

I don't recall if there's a symmetry option anywhere in the character generation menus, but facegen does have that opition in the CS. That face looks like it's turned off, so the left and right sides of the face aren't forced to match.

The image also looks like it's torch-lit, which makes it really hard to adjust anything well. Put the torch away and try to get into full daylight before adjusting Judging by the background, you're on a PC, as otherwise you'd either be in the jail cell or at the end of the sewers when that menu is shown, so you can use the "showracemenu" console command in better lighting conditions.

It just looks like the one side of his face is a bit misaligned, which leaves an odd look on his face. Kind of looks like he got hit in the face with a warhammer or something.

It's just the lighting. It was kind of a dumb idea to put the Character Generator space in a torch lit room, it should have neutral lighting. But a texture replacer wouldn't hurt though, the skin looks pretty crappy with those textures.

Just to show the problem where torchlight can't be blamed. This is the default face, akk I changed was the eyes (not sure why), and set the race to high elf. Take a look at the right hand side of his face and compare it to the left. It's wonky.

Or I'm crazy

Still looks fine to me, maybe show us a pic from a different angle?

But as for the solution, I can't think of any besides the installation of beauty mods. Really, I don't see anything wrong in the first place, but if you think so, then that's the only solution I can think up.

It's a bit strange for someone to be worried about an apparently non-existent problem. Glarthir comes to mind.. :P Just messin' with ya..

:ninja:

Or am I?

It's mainly just the one side of his mouth, it seems a bit twisted. It's sort of like it's pulled in a bit compared to the other side. It was the same when I played on the 360, and it eventually ended up really annoying me, so I rushed through part of the game with that character. Since I've got a good rp set up for this character, I don't want that to happen again.
