Facial Hair and head hair

Post » Thu May 26, 2011 11:54 pm

Do you want facial hair to be in Skyrim? I can't imagine it not being in the game.

Also, what about the option of being bald? Does anyone want that too?

Yes absolutely. As much as I loved Oblivion, they have a ton of things they can improve on, and one of them is hair and facial hair. I'd also like to see piercings and tattoos and scars added to the game.

Yes and yes, even though I probably won't end up using either.

I've got a feeling customization of the character's appearance is going to be greatly improved over Oblivion's.

They better add facial hair because you're in Skyrim, Land of The Nords.
Facial hair is obligatory. Not for women though

Seeing as how Fallout 3 and New Vegas have options for facial hair, I expect Skyrim will have it too. Which is a good thing!

Seeing as facial hair has been in their games since Sheogorath in the Shivering Isles expansion, I can't see why they would take it out now. I don't want it personally as my character is always female, but I 'm sure it will be in the mix.
Tattoos & piercings would be nice too.

Definitely, Nords with beards = Epic. Also allows for a lot of roleplaying by adding beards.

What about customizable chest hair? Is this asking for too much?

I agree though, I can't imagine facial hair not being in the game.

Maybe not on my character, but the NPCs must have these! Ofcourse, moustage would be awesome, like the uber huge ones.

Edit: LOL, customizing chest hair

I will be sorely disappointed if there is no facial hair. I can't imagine making a clean-shaven Viking character.

Yes! When I play RPGs, I always make my guy look old with long gray hair and a long gray beard :celebration: It makes him look wise!

I definitely hope there will be good beards, it would make the characters, especially the Nords, look much better.

I'm sure they will. If it was in Fallout there is no need to regress, and I thought the facial hair in FO3 and New Vegas was great (lacking only in the amount of hair styles we could pick from... I wanted a Gandolf beard!).

A Nord without a beard is like Elves without pointy ears.

I'll be able to play a real Nord since Morrowind. At last. ;)

I know the feeling. Many of my chars from Morrowind had beards, so I had to pretend they all shaved right before Oblivion. Not great from a roleplayer's perspective...

Yes. I love the character customisation and spend ages on it - the more options the better as far as I'm concerned.
