Like I said in the thread about hair + facial hair yesterday, Fallout 3 had legit beards, I don't see why TES V wouldn't.

I just hope they're a little more realistic than Fallout 3's selection of beards. They all stopped at the jaw, and didn't continue down onto the neck, like a normal beard would.

Beards are a must. Clean shaved Nords are just wrong. :poke:

I'm not all that fond of beards beyond stubble, but it seems like such a simple and obvious thing to include, I honestly don't know why they've been left out for so long, and I hope TESV will have them, if only for the sake of having them.

I'm for facial hair and here's a concept how I'd do it:

And also a version for Argonians:

Everyone should have beards. Huge beards. Men, women, and children of all races.

I just wanted to say I spent 2 minutes staring at your avatar.

I want hair! I need an Ezio, Altair, or Desmond moustach/goatee so I can make my Assassin the right way.

True. I'd also like to see a Chu beard. Long and braided all the way down to the chest.

Normally, I consider a fair percentage of Daniel_Kay's posts to be a bit "excessive", and bordering on impossible or impractical to implement, but this time he hit the nail on the head with the idea of individually selectable patches of facial hair.

You could "build" whatever combination you wanted from the various length and style "pieces" of hair. Want a moustache, but no beard?...easy. A pair of long sideburns?...consider it done. A full scraggly beard with the complete "works".....not a problem. Pony tail?....got it. Mohawk?....not without mods. That would be far better and more versatile than the oddball collection of "freak" hairstyles in OB (did anyone else notice how many of them were partly or mostly bald?) and the even stranger looking choices of moustaches and beards in FO3. I found it difficult to create anything "normal" in either of those games.

That should be no more difficult to implement than having 8 interactive sliders to adjust the angle of your character's nose, like in OB.

Facial hair is indeed a must. Oblivions idea of beards was just terrible. And while Beth is at it, they can also work on the eyebrows a bit. Like hairstyles and beards, they should also be separate models an not just colour patches on a face

Pretty simple really. All you need are the facial slots programmed into the engine.

Yeah,

Put all different styles of beards onto the game. Also can you add more races into the Elder Scrolls V??

Fallout 3 had facial hair, its only proper that TES V follow its tracks.

In addition, I'd like to see things like scars, tattoos, piercings, etc be addable in the character generation process.

In TESV we should finally be able to make a proper Chuck Norris, and them watch him punch a baby out of Azura.

Vivec already did, with his Muatra. That is, if you believe the http://www.imperial-library.info/characters/trial_vivec.shtml
