Faction question

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:15 am

ok so im a bit still confused about how the factions would play
for those that played MAG u know u selected a faction and had to stick with them
would BRINK be the same way? especially for mp vs human opponents say in stopwatch or is faction only important when goin through campaign, coop and the mp mode other than stopwatch?

reason i ask this is because lets say u choose a faction and your friends clan is of the same faction that means u wont be able to challenge them to a match since it would be security vs security or resistance vs resistance

also would u have to lvl up 2 different characters 1 for each side or just 1 making factions just cosmetic with differing objectives?

sorry if this has been asked before, but kinda looking for a clear answer without having to sipher through all the threads the search bar brought up

No. There aren't any boards to determine if one faction is beating the other, you play a character and can switch him to either side.

From what I've seen you customize a character for each side [resistance/security] for each character slot BUT you get to choose which side you're playing at any given time. This meaning if you made a Medium Engineer, you would be able to customize the look for either side and be able to use that character to play as you see fit. I'm most interested in using the same character to run through both story lines.
