My biggest curiosity right now lays with what the factions will be. Not so much the minor factions, but the major ones and how many of them there will be. When I look back at Fallout 3, having 2 factions was nice but you could really only play for 1 most of the game and then make a final decision near the end. In New Vegas, there were 3 distinct factions (4 if you include no faction), you came across each one and were able to make a choice, maybe more than once, in various parts.
So what is the deal now? I really hope that this is one of the lessons Bethesda learned from Obsidian. Having multiple choices, especially with factions, really helps bring a person into the game world and actually feel like a part of it, even if that part is ultimately little impact in the grand scheme of things.
What is the presence of the Brotherhood of Steel like?
What about the Enclave?
Is there another governing faction like the NCR (called, the Commonwealth)
What role does The Institute have (speculating they are separate major faction?)
Who else could there be?
Damn, I'm just really excited for this story. I hope it lives up to the standard New Vegas set, and the game world lives up to the exploration standard that Fallout 3 set.
