Is Faendal's House safe for storageearliest house questions

Post » Sat Jul 16, 2016 6:19 am

I have been using Faendal's house temporarily until I can find something else. So far, I have not had any problems with inventory disappearing or storage containers respawning inside Faendal's house.

(all of this of course after getting him as a follower) so does the game treat his house as being my house now?

Next question: I AM ALREADY AWARE of the Alchemist shack, and the Witch house with the cellar near Riverwood. I'm not interested in those because they both only offer one tiny end table or cupboard for storage.

I am just now leaving Riverwood, and I don't feel like pursuing the Main Quest just yet.

I am desperately needing my first house.

I was wondering if there is a much simpler path that I can take, directly to getting a house. One that does not involve having to do as much as it takes to get Breezehome (I have acquired Breezehome before.)

I don't care about the money. The expense is no concern.

I would just like to know if there is a simpler town, simpler path to getting my first house.

I would like to just quickly get ahold of a place.

As a sidenote, I really miss Oblivion right now. I keep thinking about the Waterfront shack for 1000 septims.

Extremely simple to acquire immediately after leaving the sewers, just walk in and buy it.

From what I remember his house just lets you use it, you're not the owner, and yes, containers do respawn, so make sure you revisit before the reset timer runs out.
