He definitely isn't ax crazy. His visions have only driven him slightly insane, but he can keep himself in check when the demons aren't haunting him. I'll fix all the things you mentioned, though. My character already WAS schizophrenic before the incident with the raiders, it's just that triggered it. He's DEFINITELY not going to be your run-of-the-mill psychopath.
