Hi,

A NPC in Sanctuary gave me one of those "help us" quests saying some Raiders in the Corvega factory were attacking "us" in Sanctuary. I went to the factory and cleared the place. After that, I didn't get the usual Pip-Boy announcement that "job done" and the instruction to report back, either to Preston Garvey or to someone in Sanctuary.

Because of that lack of feedback, I waited until the Raiders in the Corvega factory respawned, and then I went back and cleared the place again, hoping that I would get some Pip-Boy feedback. Shortly after doing that, I got the Pip-Boy message that I failed the quest.

I'm sure I cleared all Raiders at the Corvega factory. I roamed around and found nothing more. I made sure. So, why did I fail the quest?

You let dowm the settlers of Sanctuary, shame on you, Preston will be disappointed

You get the cleared location flag on corvega? if not you did not kill the boss. If you got it its some bug.
