Fails to load my 55 gbp file :(

I was playing it yesterday like I normally do, send people out to explore find me some goodies etc hope to complete more objectives to get more lunchboxes so I can gather the other 17 legends lol.

Anyway my phone ran out of battery and this would have worried me if my phone was not always running out of battery mid game but it does so I thought nothing of it , put my phone on charge and later that night I go to check on my vault starts to load everything as normal but he very last bit where it has a tiny lag moment and then shows your vault is now a big lag moment and game crashes.

Highly annoying considering I love the fallout franchise and have played their games for years even spent 100 gbp pre ordering fallout 4 and have even spent 55 gbp on fallout shelter because I enjoy supporting good games / companies .

My file isn't a big problem because I dnt mind restarting but when I restarted I have nothing I bought so all my Mr handy are wasted now and my many many lunchboxes where now a waste... Basically if I'm refunded my money I will just start a new file and rebuy stuff or maybe you could change the game so people don't have to repurchase when making a new vault... Like my eso account I have bought lots of stuff on eso but the beauty of that game is apart from consumables everything you buy can be used for all characters maybe you could implement a similar feature on fallout shelter :)

Anyway enough rambling if I could be refunded my money ( I can prove with receipts) then I'll be happy and continue playing.

Edit: I have a HTC One m9 and it did have 2 updates but I dnt know what it is running I know it's Android

Kind regards

Ashley

Ashley, good to see a person on here who's both using punctuation and being very clear about the circumstances.

It appears so, that your savegame may be corrupted by the game shutting down not properly. I've had this twice so far, and yes it's a major issue for many people. Try backing up your savegame (use ES file explorer, free in the app store) and save it somewhere (like your downloads folder)

Then reinstall the game, make a new vault until you finish the tutorial. You'll know when you can actually tap/click the pipboy in the lower right corner.

Exit the game properly, wait a minute or 5 and replace your "new" Vault1.sav with your backup.

If this doesn't work, I don't know what will (yet).

When this fails as well, here's the contact page for google support. Fill out the forms, attach your receipt(s) and be as clear as you were in here. They should be very forthcoming.

Copy/paste of the page details:

https://support.google.com/googleplay#topic=3364260

On that page, drop down the "refunds and returns" -menu

in there "problems with in-app purchases"

In there, go to troubleshooting first, or if you already tried every trick/option in the book, go to "option 2"; contact support

That link will get you to a form you need to fill out, including your receipt number from the purchase you made.

State clearly what the problem is and as always, stay nice.
