So I recently started playing Skyrim again. One of main Tactics is to Strafe/Circle toward Archers & Mages to avoid their ranged attacks while closing the Distance, which works wonderfully. I just noticed something though:


I'm Left Handed, so I always move Toward and to the Left when on the Approach, it works (most of the time). Watching my friend play I noticed strafing Right is Less Effective. I tested it earlier today and found I got shot much more often when strafing to the Right.


Am I insane or am I just better circling to the Left (which is entirely possible)? Has anyone else noticed this?

I wouldn't think there would be a difference. The modded NPCs in my game are bastards who often hit me when with a ranged attack when I'm strafing.

I'm a righty and I generally circle to the right which works pretty well with vanilla. With various combat and AI mods dodging is much more difficult but I've never noticed one direction being more effective than the other.
