Alyosha cut off the deathworm's head, and tossed the body into a frying pan. He lit up the oven and put the frying pan over the fire. The germs and bacteria slowly melted away from the worm. Alyosha turned aroun and opened his refrigerator, getting out a half-filled bottle of vodka. He opened his cupboard, getting out a drinking glass, and filled it up with vodka. He put away the bottle and checked on breakfast. The worm was cooked to a darker and crispier version. Breakfast was served. Alyosha put out the flame and put the worm on a plate, then sat down and ate.

He gulped down the rest of the vodka and put the glass and the plate away, then got out his coat. He pushed his arms through while leaving the room, and tossed on his Ushanka. Today was going to be a good day. Alyosha walked off the steps in front of the building, and walked to the local bar. The snow crunched below his feet, as snowflakes fell from the sky. He got in front of the bar and pulled his hands from his pocket, and opened the door. The bar was pretty busy today. Alyosha took a seat at the counter next to another person.

He ordered a beer, staring around the bar. Same old locals in the same place. As the bartender came out with the beer, some Remnant Soldiers came through the door. "Oh, Christ.. Not these guys again.." The bartender muttered. The three soldiers came to the counter. "Hey, peasant, it's time to pay the bills." the middle soldier told. "Look, this is my bar, you fools don't own it, I do! I built it with my bare hands! I won't pay you a single ruble."

The soldier got out a pistol and pressed it against the bartender's forehead. "You sure you wanna take that path, peasant?" he said. The bartender's face got red as he opened the old cash register and got out seventy percent of his earnings. He gave the money to the soldier. The soldier put the gun away and said, "That's more like it. We'll be back next week, and you better have our money." The soldier noticed the beer in front of Alyosha. He looked Alyosha in the eyes as he took it. "Why, thank you." he pulled down his facemask and drank the beer. He tossed it onto the floor as he left with the other two soldiers.

Alyosha looked back at the bartender. "What are you going to do about those guys? They're just going to keep taking your money until you have nothing left." he said. The bartender slammed the cash register closed. "I don't know. If I don't leave the city, I'm going to end up a beggar or dead. I really don't have much a choice than to give them my money, because the soldiers guard the city's exits." Alyosha sighed, then ordered another beer. He handed the bartender a couple extra rubles. "I know it isn't much, but whatever helps.." he said. "No, it's okay. I'll go get your drink." The bartender left to get another beer.

Dakayev was walking the streets of the city when he found a bar on the side. He looked into his pockets and saw that he still had 100 rubles. He proceeded to enter, watching as a few Remnant soldiers walked out. He walked over to them.

" Hey, how's the cities defenders going? Eh, how about a vodka on me?"

They both looked at him

" Nah, we're going back to H.Q to go get us some wine. I'd not mind you come, but the boss doesn't like civilians in the compount. Maybe next time, join us when you can."

Dakayev frowned

" Da, I'll see if I can fill out an application. See you guys later."

The Remnant Army soldiers waved goodbye to Dakayev before going about their buisness. He walked inside the bar. Moving towards the bartender, he sat on a stool.

" Hey, how's it going, I was wondering if you could get me a vodka, I'm dying here"

Dakayev pulled out twelve rubles and handed them over to the bartender. He frantically grabbed a bottle of low grade Vodka and handed it to Dakayev.

" Ah, something worthwile"

Dakayev lifted the cap with his finger, lifting the bottle and gulping down everything. After he finished he turned over to see another man.

" Hey, how's it going, anything interesting happen to you?"

A man had just sat down, and asked Alyosha how he was doing. Alyosha swallowed some beer, then said, "Some damned Remnant Soldiers just held up the place again. They keep taking the poor bartender's money. I sware, if I had one of those Remnant Soldiers locked in a room with me, I would rip them apart.. I don't like them one bit. Who do they think they are, claiming the city as their own.." Alyosha took another chug. "This city will fall apart if that army doesn't go down."

Dakayev chuckled

" Whatever, I think they're good folks. I'm thinking about signing up with them. But I'd rather go solo, so maybe, maybe not. So far all I care about is what to do next."

Dakayev took another swig of the Vodka bottle, finishing it whole.

" I was thinking about pillaging a tribal village along the coast. Some Remnant soldiers are joining in, so it might end up a party. What do you do that is exciting?"

Dakayev then pulled out his laser pistol. He stuck in an a large pack of 30 energy rods into it and gripped the gun.

" Migoyan QW-142 laser pistol. I got it off a Remnant soldier raid. They slaughtered this tribal town and they had a nice laser pistol lying around. So I took it and eventually found myself here. Come on , tell me you have something exciting to do...I haven't had anything to shoot in a long time. Hey, maybe you can join the raiding party for the tribal town, maybe pick yourself up a few memento's for the trip"

Alyosha stared hard at the man. "You're a sick man. I want nothing to do with you." Alyosha finished his beer and got up. He left the bar and went back to his home.

Boris kept his hood up and walked through a street. He noticed Remnant Soldiers walk away from a bar. Boris hid quickly beside a ruined car and set his rifle together. When the rifle was ready he aimed in the scope.
They were long gone...

Cursing he slung his Mosin Nagant over his back and walked into a bar (ouch! just kidding, pretty lame sorry).
There were two men talking on the bar stools. The bartender was cleaning u some glasses.
"What can I get you?" the bartender asked. Boris had never tired alcohol before so he was curious to try.
Boris asked, "I'll have a glass of Vodka sir." The bartender handed him the drink, he watched smiling.
If Boris knew how strong his first drink would be he would have asked for something else. He took a huge gulp and coughed madly. His throat was burning.
The bartender laughed, "First drink my friend? Haha! How about a beer?" Boris nodded his head but was still spluttering.
The bartender then handed Boris the beer, it tasted much better.
He handed him 50 rubles, "Keep *cough* the change sir." Boris's family was rich so money was no problem to him.

Boris then walked over with his beer to the two men, he sat and said, "Evening gents, enjoying the drinks? Boy I wish I could!"

Edit : Arghh I hate it when people beat me to the post!

OOC: That was funny to say the least

Dakayev watched as the man left the door.

" Good luck to you too"

Dakayev then left the bar, ignoring the other man, heading towards his apartment. He walked along the streets, watching as Remnant soldiers waved at him and passed on. He finally got to apartment complex and entered the lobby door. Walking past the accountant he took the elevator. He listened to the elevator music.

" No wonder everyone is in such a pissed off mood"

The elevator door opened and Dakayev turned towards the left corridor. He went to the third door on the right and inserted a key. Entering, he saw his terminal, his bed, couch, and radio. Sitting down, he turned the radio on to another broadcast of Taichovsky.

" Just perfect"

Dakayev drifted off into sleep.

Aleksi walked through the middle of an cracked road, eying each building and establishment he passed. There had been more and more attacks on the Remnant forces lately, and he could never be to careful. His footprints sunk deep into the snow, almost creating a divider between the two sides of the road. The usual sounds of conversation and rowdy antics sounded from the bars and shops. A man crashed out of a nearby lounge, sliding into the snow. Two other followed quickly behind him, kicking him in his gut while he was down. One of the attackers slung a blade out from his hand.

"[censored] remnant! We're not going to take any of that talk around here, ****!" he yelled. With that, Aleksi raised his black AK-74 and fired a burst of shots at the men, the bullets plowing into the ice covered brick wall behind them, sending shards flying. The men looked at him in horror and quickly ran back into the establishment. Aleksi stood over the beaten man and extended a hand to help him up. The obviously drunk man slapped his hand away, and stood up himself.

"I don't need your [censored] help! You cause me enough trouble as it is! Why can't you pricks just leave us the [censored] alone!" He hobbled away down the street, and disappeared around the corner. Aleksi sighed and waited. A patrol of Remnant Soldiers would be investigating the gunshots.

Alyosha slumped onto his couch. The day was passing by, and he had already spent half of if in his home, and only a few minutes in the bar. As he took his Ushanka from his scalp, he heard several gunshots in the distance. Alyosha got up and went to the window, and a few blocks down there were two people running inside and one man limping away. The last thing he saw was a Remnant Soldier with his AK out. "Damn psychopaths.." Alyosha muttered as he pulled his jacket off and hung it on a coat rack.

He sat back onto the couch, and tuned through the radio stations. He stopped on the resistance radio station where the DJ would protest against the Remnant Soldiers.

"..And more deaths appeared in the city in the past week. Crime rates have skyrocketed and riots are at an all time high. And what is the cause, you ask? The Remnant Soldiers. All they do is cause trouble and wreak havoc through the city. Remnant Soldier supporters, please, do not be fooled. These terrorists are nothing more than Bandits with access to heavy weaponry and technology. They are nothing to support. Why would anyone want to support criminals who murder on a daily basis? These soldiers are rapists and murderers with some armor slapped on top. And so they.."

Alyosha noticed it was now nighttime outside. It was probably time to go to sleep. Alyosha got up from the couch and walked into the bedroom, getting on different clothes and hopping into bed. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. Alyosha woke up the next morning and got dressed. He decided he was going to eat breakfast at the bar. As Alyosha left the building, he noticed a huge group of people surrounding the bar. Alyosha ran up to the crowd and pushed people aside to see what the commotion was.

When he got past the people he saw what they were staring at. Inside the bar, the bartender was slumped over the counter, with a huge hole blasted through his skull. There was blood all over the counter and the floor. Alyosha proceeded inside and inspected the area. The cash register was empty, and the Remnant Soldiers insignia was carved into the bartender's back. It was obviously the Remnant Soldiers to blame, but some might have not known the cause. It was most likely because of the little scene the previous day, and the soldiers coming back for revenge.

Dakayev awoke to the sound of gunfire and shouts.

" Another crappy day in Yakutsk"

Dakayev slumped his lazy self off the couch and went on to his terminal. Accessing his encrypted files he submitted several applications for the Remnant army. He began typing a message to his parents, all the way back in the Volga.

Well, I'm off to join the Remnant army, and I won't be coming back. If it isn't much to ask, open up your bank accounts. You'll find a few Rubles for your troubles. And other than that, I hope to see you some other day. In any word, I am guessing the faction will be marching down the border.

Dakayev turned off the terminal and slumped back onto his bed.

He slept again.

Alex walked through the city. It was full with citizens and remnant soldiers. Each time one of the soldiers looked at him he pulled his hood even lower.

"Damn Remnant soldiers, its like a [Cencored] convention here!" He whispered to himslef.

Back in Magadan they werent so popular and didnt cause much trouble. Perhaps the reason was that they didnt have a [censored] army there. But here... He noticed 2 soldiers kicking someone who was on the ground and the soldiers were obviously entertained. He spat on the ground, he couldnt do anything. He barely managed to pass the city gates with his weapons, at least they were almost people, they took bribes. He sent his hand to his pocket and took out a cigarette from his pack, while with the other one he took out his lighter. He inhaled a large amount of smoke and smiled, now he needed a drink. After a few minutes he came by a large building with the Sign 'Bar' on it. The only problem was the large crowd of people around the entrance.

"Here goes my beer..." He mumbled and noticed a young man runnin into the bar.

Alex followed and when he entered he saw the dead bartender and the young man near im.

"A friend of yours?" He asked him still hoping for a drink.

Alyosha turned to the man. "Sort of. I've been grabbing drinks from him for years, but not really friends. Still angers me to find the man dead. Come here, I want you to see this." Alyosha walked ot the dead bartender and exposed the huge carved Remnant Soldiers insignia. "They're responsible."

OOC: Ok, im going home now, it would take me 2 hours to get there, so meanwhile keep on going without me :) be back soon! :D

Alex spat to the ground.

"Same thing happened to me... Me and a scavenging party tried to get to moscow... got caught in the outskirts. All of them died. They werent actualy my friends but i didnt want them dead. I know how you feel." Alex said with a shake of his head.

Alex ducked down and picked up a bottle of beer from under the counter. "Better that we would take it before those remnant soldiers would come and take everything." He picked up another bottle and handed it Alyosha.

Alyosha took the bottle, and tucked it away for later. "Hey, man. I'm tired of bing pushed around every day by these troops. They took my parents away, they took my life away, and now they took my source of alcohol away. And now there's a little something I wanna take away from them. And you probably know what that is.. Do you want to help me get to Moscow and just get rid of these guys? Suicide, I know, but if we got the guns and we have at least four people, we have a chance to leave the city and get there. Are you in?"

Boris was standing against the building when he overheard the two men speaking. Fight back? Great! He walked over to them and introduced himself, "Hello, my name is Boris Klimov and I couldn't help overhear your conversation. The Remnant soldiers [censored] and killed my family. I wish to join your cause, I am a good marksman. So, can I help?"

Boris was excited, this could be the first time anyone but him was going to fight back.

Alyosha was intrigued to see a person actually stand up to the force. "You good with that gun of yours? Can you take a bullet or two? If so, welcome aboard. I'm Alyosha Kuznetsov. What about you? We're going to be working together for at least a month, I gotta know who you are."

The cold wind began to take its toll on Aleksi. The sun was slowly setting, and soon enough the streets would be frozen solid, along with anyone unfortunate enough to be stuck out here. He slung his rifle back over his shoulder and pushed his way through the wind. He held his hands in front of his face to help stop the ice from whipping his face. Glowing light shone from one of the windows. Though this area was not remnant friendly, they wouldn't dare attack a well-armed one alone. As he stepped into the relative warmth, the ice sticking to his armor began to melt off and drip to the floor. There was a short bar attended by a small man, along with a few booths filled with dirty plates. A sign hung from a staircase, showing in bright red letters "Lodging". Aleksi sat down in front of the man.

"Give me something to warm me up. None of that damn vodka." Almost immediately a small glass was in front of him, being filled with a syrup looking liquid. The man filled it almost half way, and slid it towards him, staring at Aleksi as he held the bottle. He immediately tossed it back. It was slightly thick, but tasted like molasses. A gush of warmth entered his body. He slammed the glass down in front of the man.

"Keep 'em coming."

Despite his rough childhood, he still grew up to be a friendly guy, and was good friends with many of the inhabitants of Yakutsk.

He lives in an apartment building by himself, both of his parents had passed away from unknown illnesses, and Dane had no siblings. Since his parents died, he started fighting in a fight club, to get his mind off things. He became a great fighter, and acquired excellent reflexes and agility. Although he doesn't show it, Dane is an amazing fighter. Hes always wanted to get out of Yakutsk and journey to different places, but has never gotten the chance. He hopes that one day he'll get out and live a free life, away from the murderous remnant soldiers, and the troubles of the town. (OOC: Hope you don't mind ghoul, I added a small part to the bio.)

(OOC: Yes, I got permission from the OP.)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(OOC: I'm new to this, so don't expect too much.)

Dane leaned back in his recliner and took a swig of whiskey. He flipped the switch of the radio and sent loud static pouring into the room. Dane rotated the plastic knob of the radio, and tuned into Resistance Radio Station. The DJ droned on about the increase of crimes, raqes and murders, but Dane was used to it. He didn't like it one bit, but he was used to it. He stood up out of his chair, set his whiskey bottle on an end table, and wiped the condensation of the bottle onto his jeans. The Remants were getting worse and worse, Dane wanted so bad to put a stop to it, but how? He was just one man, he would be slaughtered. Dane shook off his thoughts and walked over to the pantry.

"Ahh, hear we are, cheese puffs." Dane said to himself as he snatched the snack out of the pantry.

The bag burst open with a pop, as Dane squeezed the bottom end of it.

"I love that noise.." Dane said aloud.

He reached his hand into the bag and pulled out a cheese puff, tossing it into his mouth. There was alot of noise coming from outside, so Dane decided to check it out. He walked over to his windowsill and leaned up against it. There was crowd of people huddled around the bar, some were... puking?

"What the hell...?" Dane trailed off.

He laid his bag of cheese puffs on the window sill and grabbed his hoodie off of the coat rack. He slid his hoodie on as he walked out the door, and down the stairs. As he opened the door of the apartment, he immediately heard the cluttered sounds of people talking back and forth. He pushed his way through the crowd and made his way to bar, where everyone was staring.

"Oh my god.." Dane muttered, as his eyes widened.

The blood of the bartender was stained all over the bar, pieces of his skull were strewn about, and there was a gaping hole in the back of his head. Dane walked closer and saw the Remnant's insignia carved into the bartender's back.

"Should've known."
