Falling asleep--travel to Wind Stone

So far, I have fallen asleep twice and been whisked instantly to Wind Stone. Anyone know why?
More than a little annoying, unless there is something I don't understand. Any help appreciated.

For the same reason there are other people at the Wind Stone.

Hint: Those other people are not awake.
