[RELz] Falling Stars

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 1:27 pm

I installed this only the other day. As luck would have it, my then-current save was inside a mod-added Priory just off the Yellow Road at 9:00pm on a crystal clear night. I had planned for us to sleep at the Priory, but decided to instead return to Weye checking the sky all the while. We weren't disappointed. If anything, there were maybe too many meteorites. At least it seemed so at first. But I grew accustomed to their frequency and decided to leave it as-is. Just as well I did. No game-night since then has been clear enough for falling stars.

I use this in conjunction with OC_DarkerNights and Blue Sky Nebula. Evening travel can be quite visually dramatic.

A keeper!

Heh it can be hard to get screenshots of them sometimes. There were a few times I was taking screenshots of nighttime scenes and thought "oh this would be even better with a star streaking across the sky!" which was followed by a few minutes of spamming my screenshot key hoping I'd capture one of them. It's rare you can see the star and then be able to take a shot of it, you have to get ahead of it, which means sitting around hitting the screenshot key over and over again hehe :P

If I may be permitted to go off topic, which of the moon sets is pictured in this capture?

It's the Masser replacer from http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2234.

Thanks for going off topic with that, hehe, and thanks to Arkngt for the link, I've got no idea how I never came across those improved textures.
