Yeah, Boradam should've mentioned that methinks. It's FOnline: 2238. Russians made an online mod that require you to have Fallout 1 and 2 installed.

I was trying to go down to Necropolis once, and once I got to Junktown I came into an encounter in the world map with another player who told me to pay a fee for being down there or I'd be killed, well, I had no money, so I was instakilled.

FOnline is brutal.

And getting 10 hides from brahmins to set up a personal camp is a freaking achievement.

(Last time I played Charisma did absolutely nothing since there were no quests so I honestly don't think anyone needs to have more than 1 in it, I just took 3 to balance it out a little more.)

I get a message saying Master DAT not found, anyone know a solution? Also I'm known as The Enclave as well on the Fallout 2238 forum, don't have your steam chat thing.

Download steam, it's easier to communicate with.

You need to reinstall the Mod and when you get to a phase where you need to selectMaster.dat and critter.dat browse and find your Fallout 2 secton and select Master.dat and critter.dat.

I think there is a certain program in the installed folder which allows you to set critter.dat and master.dat files, after setting them it should work, if not then start up the update launcher which should be in the installation folder and run it.
I think there is a biiiig help thread on NMA for getting FOnline to work.
