Well I am mad! Update removed Running. I can no longer Doubleclick to Run!. I have to click shift and that does not always work. The game is ruined now. This game is made so people can easly kill people. P'kers or what ever.

Well, the time is 3AM in Sweden right now.
So yeah, I "Should" only be able to play from 5PM to 2AM with weekends going to 5AM.

Yeah, the update broke alot of stuff apparently.

Game crashed While I was in the middle of the wasteland. So I am guessing my stuff is gone. Also I can't get back into the game. Are they fixing the problems caused by the udates?

So guys, because it's been driving me crazy, I uninstalled Fallout 1,2, and T, reinstalled them and fixed the F2 soundtrack path. Question is, how do I reinstall FOnline without compromising F1-2 music?

Well I am very mad right now. I have not slept in a very long time. Wasted over three days so I can make the best armour in the game "Brotherhood Combat Armour." I Finally get 180 repair needed. So I am at level 20. I Joined the Brotherhood which is a huge mistake. Why? Well I will tell you why. The game makes ZERO sense! The Brotherhood of Steel have a base in the Capital City of NCR but once you join the Brotherhood, by going to that base in NCR's Capital. The NCR army and Rangers turn on you. I keep getting shot down by NCR Army and Rangers! WHY does the Brotherhood have a BUNKER in NCR'S Capital and yet NCR Hates the Brotherhood! :banghead:

What would happen if I had joined the Enclave? Let me guess everyone would love the hell out of me?

The game is messed up. A complete waist of time!

I think its like that cause people were making lots of free money from the bank interest. (Me included I put in around 10k a while back now my "balance" is up to 500k) So we are maybe getting punished for a developers mistake. People making free money off the banks happened 4-5 wipes ago. Now my Vault City Doctor has to sell what meds he made to make more.

:twitch: Okay, see, this is why we need the bank collective, but anyways thats exactly the reason why the bank is killed now.

Also Styles, you have to go to Lost Hills to join if you havn't already, and yes... the NCR hates you.

Just make sure you have the soundrack in the right folder when it says select soundtrack.

I have to do some quests for the Brotherhood at NCR first before I can go to Lost Hills. I have to get 10 radscopion tails. Its hard having NCR shoot me down every ten feet.


@ Dustin81 that is one hell of a glich. I did not get it. svcks thow. Everytime I need money say to pay for the training to become level 3 or to by some armour. The damn bank is broken!

To get into Lost Hills you have to rush through and talk to the guard on the left, and you get a quest.

I have been to Lost Hills. The guy wil not talk to me. Opening the door gets me killed. I have to do things for the ones in NCR first. I already gave them the 200 rounds of 5mm. Now I have to do the "grunt work."

I just want to know, who else is getting sick of this game?

At first it was fun and it is addictive as hell. Its why I am up at 4:24 am.

This is a great reason why Fallout should not go online. Number one reason: There are to many bad people out there (Internet). This game is full of people that do nothing but kill other players. I am at the Gecko Mine and have run into this one guy, Spectrum or something like that. He has BoS combat armour and a Bozar like weapon and I think 9 Mercs all with lazer weapons or Bozars and Metal Armour MKII. I have run into this (God I want to swear), he has killed me three times now!. Three times in as many hours. I have a feeling this guy is not going away.

A game where this can happen is crap, IMO. Only hope for it is when they wipe it and everyone will be on an even playing field.

Edit: One person with the best armour and weapons and nine Companion/mercs with the best weapons and arrmour. Adding to that no life and just has fun killing other players. The game is full of people like that. They will never go away. Really what can be done? The game is set up so people can do that. There are only 3 mines in the game where you can get the best Minerals/Ore. Only 3 and they are very far apart. Yet the mines are not guarded so people can just camp there and kill other players. So the other players can't get the best raw material and therefore can't make the best things.

Brings up bad memories of playing games like Day of Defeat were it just became people camping at spawn points and people that kill their own team!

I feel your pain Styles that's why I quit the online gaming scene for a couple of years now, especially the FPS scene plus I'm getting old my reflexes aint wot they used to be.

I agree whole heartedly.. too many cheaters, hackers and bad internet people online. That's why I'll always prefer Fallout as a single player.

If we had a way to get HQ stuff we could get good equipment as well and be slightly on par with them (excluding the amount of health and number of perks they have of course)
So while there are the PK'ers to blame I also blame the [censored] crap design with HQ materials.
There should be AT LEAST 20 different mines with HQ crap in the around the world, so that if a mine is taken over by faction A then we can move over to another mine and maybe take it ourselves or just exploit it until a faction takes control of it.
Or hell, in rocky areas allow a certain % chance for depleteable HQ rocks to spawn.
At least giving us new players a freaking chance to get the good stuff.
Right now I agree though, we ain't exactly moving up in the world.
And doing hunting trips might get boring after a long time, still, we gotta do something or this game is quickly dying out on us.

The bane of online gaming... "bullies". One of the reasons I generally stay away from online games.

But, I agree with you on the note of getting sick of it. I'm still trying, but its quickly losing its taste. My main reason is more that there is no goal in the game. It has started to feel like playing house, and hoarding gear for the sake of hoarding gear, and leveling up fot the sake of.... hoarding better gear. What else is there to do?

We should try to take out a Unity patrol.

Honestly, I've been sick of this game for a while now, I've just been staying on to try and have everyone enjoy this mod.

Guess I'm doing a pretty bad job at it though.

They have Town Control, PvP (Oh wait, that's the entire game.), Player Events (Group Roleplaying or some ridiculous gathering.), and etc.

I'm sure it's not about anyones individual efforts (at least you tried, as did everyone), but more about the general goallesness of the thing. It was kinda fun in the beginning and it has some cool features and nice TB combat and all, but.... It's just doing stuff for the sake of doing stuff in the end. Not exactly my cup of tea. I'd say it would be better with some kind of a deathmatch/capture a flag system with rounds and leveled (to a degree) sub-divisions of gangs that compete to get the "grand prize of what ever" as the main goal of sorts with "doing stuff" thingy running beside it - for example - but I'm not the one say what it should or shouldn't be.

Well FOnline is after all a MMO project done on games not really designed for MMO's by a small group of modders IIRC so it has a loooooooong way to go really.
But yeah we basically played the alpha, maybe beta minus, and it's just not fleshed out enough atm.
Think I'm gonna quit now though, not much point in mining/scavenging and crafting while dying by PKers or ridiculous encounters all the time.
If we tried to find a purpose, like going on hunting trips with enemies that are challenging yet manageble then we might actually have fun.
Like when me Martyr, Kipler, Mako and... Savage? Went to Necropolis and got us some krazies and scavs, that was really fun.
It was a bit challenging yet fun.
But yeah unless we actually start doing crap like that I ain't gonna keep playing any longer, too tedious and repetitive.
