So I've read about the crashing issues (across all platforms, really), and was wondering how well some of the more popular Windows 7 fixes work for Fallout 3. I actually had it pulled up and added to my cart in steam before I saw the little blurb that it is not optimized for Windows 7. Are the fixes listed online pretty sufficient in stabilizing FO3 on Windows 7?

If I can still run Ultima Online on W7, surely I could run a much newer game like Fallout 3??
