[ Rules:

1) Do not submit a character sheet, simply introduce your character into the story somehow, describing his personality and skills. Creatures such as mutants, death claws, or animals are in fact allowed, but try to keep it realistic
2) Cursing and profanity is allowed but only if it suits the character's personality
3) No god mode or "ubering"
4) No walls of text, use spaces or make an indention. Post length should range between a medium sized paragraph and five to six paragraphs, no books here please
5) The death of your or others characters is ultimately a possibility, this RP strives on reality, a bullet can kill, as well as knives. When and if its your time to go, it's your time to go
6) When speaking out of character, do it at the top of your post and in [OOC:] brackets please.
7) Have fun! Make any kind of character you want, but keep it down to earth please, no Jedi's or King Leoniduses please]

Jack Harding prowled in the tall grass, his arms extended and holding a .32 caliber, bolt action hunting rifle. The wood was splintered and cracked, and the butt of the gun was wrapped in dirty cloth. The trigger and iron sights had rusted with age. Jack slowly but steadily walked through the grass, his gun's sights aimed at a large Yao Guai, or mutated black bear. The creature growled and sniffed at the air, cautiously eying it's surroundings. Jack slid back the rusted bolt on his rifle, loading a .32 round into the chamber. He took aim at the creature, as he drew slow, deliberate breaths.

Out of Nowhere a Mister Gutsy Robot starts shooting plasma rounds at the Yao Guai and proclaims, "Die Red Menace!!" Several more shots follow, also with slice of buzzsaw. After the Yao Guai is no more, the robot turns to Jack.

a loud shot echoed through the area, the mister gutsy froze and fell to the floor, jack looked off in the distance to see a man rising up from a lying position clutchin a sniper rifle the man walked up to jack and said

Oh wow.

I do believe my thread is ruined. -_- How come the good RPers never come to my threads?

charicter sheet is kinda a good idea...
it started in a non conventional place...

^Yeah what he said. Your first post, did'nt have a story, it just started out with a guy hunting a yao guai. Maybe if you had a story added to it, then more people would join, oh and a character sheet would have been nice also, something like this.

Thats just a simple Character sheet, but if you really want people to join your Rp, HAVE A STORY, at least a decent story. Oh and keep your players in check, dont let them talk as your character, and keep the story in your power, unless you cant help it. You and the players should have a decent amount of writing in a post. NOT A SMALL PARAGRAPH OR A LARGE SENTANCE.

I suggest at least playing in an existing RP for some time before trying to make your own.

If we're going to Roleplay, at least tell us where and when the setting is. Your own post is rather bereft of details.

I read your post and decided Jack was a midget African-American with a 3' diameter Afro, wearing an Elvis suit while he hunted Yao Guai on the windswept steppes of Pakistan (No offense meant to Pakistani African-American midgets who like Elvis, of course).

A ) A good story
B ) Good rules (which you basically had)
C ) Character creation
