Greetings there.

I bought FO1, 2 and Tactics today, and really enjoying the first game.

I started off by doing the Chamber 15 thingy, found two ropes and a SMG, killed rats and made it to that hippie city between 13 and 15.

Then, as I wanted to look around, I asked where would I find another cities. South, was the answer and I soon ended in Raider camp, who I joined by killing the prisoners.

Problem is that I don't know how to carry on. I am only level 2, and I can shoot only oncee per turn (due to strenght 4) which makes me vurneable to Necropolitans, I assume that next possible source of water generator is there. Also I don't know where to get water/food which apparently is necessary for the character to survive.

Any suggestions for this newb? I learn pretty quick when it comes to games but sometimes we all need directions..

It might be worth talking to some of the Mercenaries in Shady Sands.

Go back to Vault 13 and see if they can give you anything to help you with your exploration.

Also, i would recommend finding Junktown, and doing some quests there. You'll be able to get a bit more gear and maybe level up, meaning you'll be better set to go to Necropolis.

Be sure to stay the night in the hotel when you get to Junktown, its always nice to be well rested

Did you have the device on you when you spoke to Gizmo?

If you did it should have recorded it automatically. Go speak to Killian and see if it works.

Go have a chat to some people in The Scumm Pitt that evening before you go with Killian&Lars to take out Gizmo.
