Fallout 2 Advice

Post » Fri Jun 24, 2011 8:31 am

Hey, my gaming laptop is gonna get repaired, the mother-board got fried.

So I'm playing Fallout 2 (again) on another computer, it downloads relatively fast.

This time, I'm gonna raise my charisma so I can unlock certain speeches.

My last playthrough, I had trouble finding ammo for energy weapons and ammo for the minigun. I'm not gonna work with the slavers this time, which gave me a good eco boost.

Somewhat later in my latest playthrough I came upon a plethora of minigun ammo. It all came off the corpses of the New Khans occupying a certain vault.

It's hard to find the ammo for the good toys. You mean that vault that the NCR wanted to annex? Or another?

Vault 15 the one NCR wanted back from the squatters and I agree ammo is difficult to find for the good toys. Luckily the weapons dealer in San Francisco stocks up on .223 FMJ for my Bozar :celebration:

check NCR weapons merchants both of them, along with San Fransico Between then you'll have all the MFC SEC and 5mm you'll ever meed. Be sure to check all the tables for the vendors at San Fran, and the caravan merchant guy inside NCR.

Also, the cave where Smiley is? That door in the back leads to a pre-war ammo depot. It'll take some pretty serious lockpicking skill and/or Electronic Lockpicks Mk. II to get it open.

There's 2mmEC in there, too.
