I thought that The Ballad Of Gay Tony was great.
Far better than the Vanilla.

Anyway, no Fallout does not always have the good DLC.
MA and Broken Steel for example.
MZ had it's interesting parts and a great concept but it was a linear run and gun corridor shooter with meatshield aliens.
And Broken Steel broke the game and made the already bad ending worse.

There have been other DLC's which are good.
Undead Nightmare for RDR was ten times better than the vanilla.
Left 4 Dead's DLC's are all great as well. Even Crash Course.
Borderlands DLC's were also very fun and added new interesting things to the game. (Haven't played Claptraps(This is a word?) Revolution though.)
Shivering Isles was also very good.

Other than that I have not bought any DLC's so I couldn't comment but I wouldn't say Fallout = good DLC's.

We live in a world where developers will deliberatly take stuff out of the vanilla game and then sell it to us for more money the day the origanol game comes out i.e Bioware games, lionhead games etc etc, and I really dont think they should be aloud to do that. (Also the DLCs normally only last an hour)

But Developers like Rockstar and Bethesda/Obsidian are still forking up great DLCs that add more to the game, which is what DLC should be.

You're entitled to your opinions, but I completely disagree. To me, MZ and Broken Steel were great, but I hated The Pitt and Point Lookout. But yeah, everything else in your post I agree with. You just left out Minerva's Den for BioShock 2, which was 1,000,000 times better than the vanilla game.

I've enjoyed all the Fallout DLCs so far. I can't account for it, since it ticked off all my 'I'm gonna like this' boxes, but Point Lookout doesn't engage me like the others.
My favorite of them all is Mothership Zeta. Not sure it should have been a Fallout DLC, but I love shootin' aliens.
I'm playing Dead Money for the 3rd time. Always something new.

The worst is COD, a couple of maps for 10 bucks and one is always zombie mode I never use?
I like shooters (I'll admit it), but they are the biggest swindles. FPS DLC are always the worse.
At least BFBC gave a vietnam war pack for free. and thats quite a bit of fun.

I have never been dissatisfied by a FO DLC. Sure some of them don't float my boat or style, but I would never regret buying them because all of them had enjoyable aspects.

Also Bioware and their weapon and armour packs are up their with COD too. but I enjoyed lair of the Shadow Broker. I don't like the addition of DLC characters, that annoys me.

Left 4 Dead gets pretty good DLC's.
They cost 5 or 6 bucks.

Crash Course - 2 long maps.
The Passing - 3 long maps, 2 new weapons, 1 new uncommon common, new witch skin, new kind of finale, mutation mode.
The Sacrifice - 3 long maps, 2 new weapons. (Same weapons as Passing actually.) + No Mercy, 5 map campaign.
And the new one, Cold Stream, is gonna have a new campaign of 4 maps with all other L4D1 maps too.

Pretty good DLC's IMO, and they're shooters.
I've played each new campaign like 20 times at minimum so I got tons of replayability from them.

I agree completely that Fallout DLC is always good.
All 6 have made me feel like my 10 bucks were well spent.
Got my money's worth out of them, and they provided many hours of entertainment, along with new toys of course.
They really enhance the storyline as well.
Playing Fallout 3 with all 5 DLCs attached makes the game overall, WAY better.
It looks like it's going to be that was for NV as well, considering we're getting a "bigger" more epic storyline that looks like it will make the main storyline now look like a side quest.
I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing....but if it's fun, I won't care.

I regret spending $15 on those MW2 map packs, giant waste of money. With Fallout's DLC you get more bang for your buck and it's $5 cheaper too.

DLC are new to Fallout, as in Fallout, Fallout 2 and Tactics don't have any.

Out of the DLC I hate Mothership Zeta. Operation: Anchorage is ok and Broken Steel is a mess.

Point Lookout, The Pitt and Dead Money are good.

So its 50/50

The only other games' DLC I've had experience with were COD: WAW, and MAG. I enjoyed both of them as much as I enjoyed the DLC for Fallout, and since they're not the same type of game, I can't compare them.

not all FO dlc is perfect (most have bugs/aggrivations or feel a bit low on content or seem repetitive) but its still some of the best extra content out there for consoles (borderlands being the top imo). its a shame that some devs release great games but make horrible/lazy dlc for those great games (bioware).

Bethesda & Rockstar are in my mind, the last big 2 to still be putting out amazing stuff consistently and pushing gaming forward.

I kind of agree...I think bethesda just knows how to make good DLC...They were one of the first to do so with the horse armor for Oblivion, then the other DLC that was made for them. Other devs are quickly catching on thought (Undead nightmare, GTA4) but lots are still [censored] due to length or lack of content (fable 3, Mass effect)

I would say :fallout: has great dlc's yes broken steel had some problems but it was fun to play and the loot was awesome sauce didn't mind the ending of bs just i hate that it ruined the GOOD ending to fo3 pre dlc.Mothership E.T could of been better prob the worst of fallouts dlc's but the rest were great.

I actually liked all of the dlc for Fo3 and thought they were worth it.

OA gave information on what happened back in the past of the story, Broken Steel fixed the ending (in my opinion) and Mothership Zeta was a nice change from the norm and made the Lone Wanderer one of the most powerful people in the wasteland since now he/she can wipe out anyone with the ship

and with the other dlcs you mentioned, I thought Undead Nightmare was boring and vanilla RDR was better and I think L4D is boring.

I did like TBoGT for GTA
Borderland's dlcs were good though (Claptrap was really good, Secret Armory was best)
and Shivering Isles was perfect

but everything boils down to opinion.

I know some people who think that both Fo3 and New Vegas are boring and I always give reasons why they aren't. But it is just their opinion.

To be honest Fallout and Red Dead are the only games ive bought all the DLC's for. I think Broken Steel was great! Far better than The Pitt or (im going to get alot of flame for this) Dead Money. And all Red Dead DLCs are great.
