Well, I hope so, plasma weapons, laser weapons, explosive weapons are all different weapons that lore-wise always used different ammo types.

I am assuming so. I was pausing through some of the in game footage and on one of the weapons I noted that in the stat's it saide Ammo - .45 . So I think it's safe to say yes it does. Why does that svck? It's realistic and can lead to some very challenging situations.

OHHH!!!!..... I think it does. In the Microsoft showcase video (which was different from the Bethesda showing the night before) it shows him in the power armor with the mini gun. It was shooting regular and then he did something that made it shoot slower but the shots seemed to be more powerful. So maybe a larger round type for it?

Why is more ammo choices bad? I couldn't see an ammo tab on the Pip Boy but hopefully it's in MISC. I loved the variety in FNV.

I know a lot of people that like the different ammo types but i really don't like it and it pretty much ruined new vagas for me and if it had it in fallout 4 I may have to set my console on fire

How could it possibly be a problem up to point that it ruined the game?

Thing is, the different types of ammo could be pretty much ignored in New Vegas. Just use the base ammo and ignore the special rounds. I like the special rounds as I could make one gun do different jobs. Helped on the hardcoe loadouts when I was allowed one weapon (RP Rules of mine, not the game)

Different types how? .38 vs .45 vs 9mm? That's already confirmed, as the weapon modification weapon system demo at E3 shows this sort of thing - the Pipe Rifle is shown to fire .38, the 10mm Pistol is 10mm (duh), the Assault Rifle is 5.56, etc.

If you mean 5.56 FMJ vs 5.56 JHP, no idea yet.

I have no good logical reason for this, its just the second I learnt about the ammo types I hated it, proberbly stubborness by this point, I just thought I should ask as I couldn't find a forum about it and voice my lonley opinion while I was here and I'm going say it one more time before I never bring it up again...... Ammo types svck ass for no raisin at all......

Well while I don't understand to be honest, there's no problem with voicing your opinion :D

My problem with the special ammo was that it was a bit to rare, I tend to save it up for the real tough fights as in after the loading screen.

It was no requirement to use it, it was more of an bonus.

Yeah. It svcks that I can't stuff that .223mm into a missile launcher. What are they thinking?

As a person who hits the gun range at least twice a year to burn through ammo for the giggles, I can safely say it never BOTHERED me because I have experience with different Ammos, especially Dirty Ammo, which the equivalent would be poorly made re-loads. Not enough gunpowder and the things don't fire.

They better, i know they seemed to "ignore" FONV's existence during E3 when they discussed FO4 but dammit when you come up with an awesome mechanic/features dont abandon it

Why the heck would it svck? Use default ammo if you don't like it.

It was awesome in NV and I hope it will come back here, was one of the big reasons of why NV combat was superior to FO3.

Moreover, make them have weight. 50000 bullets on one person is ridiculous.

Give them weight? No, no. How am I suppose to carry around 15,000 mini nukes if they have weight to them? :D

Different ammo types should be in and if you don't like it, by all means don't use them. Different enemies call for using different ammo types.
