It would svck. Nintendo has bad graphics on it's hardcoe games and mediocre (but gameplay wise not bad) games like Kirby, and I ain't gonna play no super smash fallout Kirby zombies.

Coming this fall...

I like your idea with the Pip Boy on the tablet, but I probably won't buy the Wii U. I will wait for the next Xbox generation.

If it's true they can get Battlefield 3 on the Wii U with decent graphics. Then anything is possible.

I'm the type of gamer that wants to move nothing on my body except my thumbs fingers and eyeballs

so I certainly dont want to be waving my arms around swingin the damn Wii controllers around, and even being a diehard Xbox fan I despise Kinect for the same reason

so no, couldn't give a shucky darn if Fallout is ever on that type of inteface as long as we have an alternative

Thank you the first positive response so far and i'm not a big fan of shaking my buttocks for some points either but i thought my idea and fallout in general could be interesting on wii u.

In this topic: People who know nothing about Nintendo...

Not talking about you Mr. President or you Huebi.

I would like to see Fallout on the Wii U but I don't think the console could bring anything spectacularly unique to the series, only an easier way of using the PIP-Boy menu.

Another thing that could work very well on the Tablet is the V.A.T.S.. When you press the button the game on the TV will stop, and you can select your target on the touchscreen.

However making use of that contoller would require a special version of the game made for that alone, and it is unsure whether the new engine could even make use of it.

Also have to love that console's name, it's like a swear but it isn't. Wii U everybody! :hehe:

Not sure if want...

...Anyway, on topic. Using the Pip-Boy from the controllers screen sounds interesting, but as it is the game pauses when you use it. That migh be a minor problem in it's implementation. However as Skyrim now features non-staring, non- world freezing conversations, perhaps Fallout 4 has that in real time?

I think it would work (at least for me). I don't think it will happen. Part of Nintendo's (very successful) business strategy appears to be avoiding head-to-head competition with the PC/Xbox/PS3 crowd. Nintendo focuses on innovation and gameplay, while the others focus on adding more video RAM and copying Nintendo's more successful creations (Kinect, anyone?). Nintendo could add some fun aspects to Fallout gameplay with the new Wii U console, but the audience for Fallout would probably just moan about how it looks better on the PS4/Xbox820/whatever.

I wouldn't mind a Fallout game for the Wii U. It will pick up new fans for the Fallout series! I'm sure there are some people who would get into Fallout if it came out for Wii U.

Meh, why? Most people who own wiis probably have a computer already. I don′t see the point in porting this game to yet another console. The devs would only use time on learning how the wii-u works and etc. So no. Not a good idea.

Well. As the OP wanted to say: That console could bring interesting new gameplay aspects into the game. So in my opinion it is a good idea.

The only new aspect would be motion, and if they want to do that they already had the chance to do it on the Kinect.
