Has anyone manged to get this stable yet? Mine works but then freezes during gameplay. It dosnt .. crash per se but it forces me to actually reset my computer.

I am running in XP SP3 comptability mode, have windows live installed and modified the ini to only use one core.

No problems here. I don't use any compatibility or admin modes. I have it installed in my steam library in C:\Games\ not in program files. I have the GFWL client installed and the ini modified for 2 cores.

I haven't had it freeze but I've had freezing on a different application. Have you tried opening a second desktop and leave Task Manager running on there? Then you should be able to alt+tab to it and you can kill the unresponsive program, unlike if it's on the same desktop as an unresponsive full-screen application.
