Fallout anthology

(I will be talking a lot about ES in this post but it's all relevant to fallout)

Do you think that Bethesda should release a Fallout anthology like they did with ES ? Now as anyone who seen the ES anthology pack in the shops will have noticed that you are given Arena ,Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim and all expansion packs bit they omitted Redgard and Battelspire. If they bring out a Fallout anthology you would obviously get Fallout 1,2,3 and NV but would you wan't to see Fallout Tactics aswell?

I remember when it came out i was too young for it but people said oh it's not a true fall out game not worth it ect

The most obvious game that could end up out of the Anthology would be Fallout:Brotherhood Of Steel.

It is considered as not canon by both Interplay & Bethesda.

Also, it isn't available for PC. Considering all the other games are available for PC, it would be more likely to have the anthology on pc.

I doubt Bethesda would want to port FOBOS on PC. I also doubt they would include an emulator and FOBOS rom in the package as i believe emulators are open source. You shoudln't get money from it. (if i am not wrong)

About Fallout Tactics, it was already included in the trilogy boxset for more than ten years.

It is not an RPG, but they never lie to you about it. It is a tactical game, and is one of the best games in that specific category.

It has some specific inconsistencies that give it a semi-canon status, but the rest of the game is very consistent.

If we aknowledge that it is NOT an RPG, (even if there are some choices) it is pretty faithfull to many core elements of Fallout.

I also believe that there are few dev from previous Fo games that work on it. (far less than FoNV, but still)

So It absolutly should remains in the Anthology.

Since when a Fallout game NEED to be a rpg? if it dose not break the lore it's a fallout game. Tactics was a good game and the bigger picture made by the game fits the universe, should I remove Redguard from the Elder Scrolls simply because it's not a rpg?

as for the topic at hand as that is the thing I came to comment on I don't think it will happen for a fue more years as I'm still seeing the original trilogy pack in stores, I think it would come out right after FO4 is fully finished

Because if someone ask what is Fallout, here is the answer :

(didn't managed to include the image on the post)

The thing with Fallout:Tactics is that they say it on the box. It is a tactical game, not an RPG. They don't pretend it is an RPG. So i give them full credit from that.

If there is no mention like that, you come to expect it to be an RPG, like Fo1-Fo2-FoNV.

So i am ok with some Fallout games not being RPG as long as they clearly mention that it is not an RPG, and don't call it a sequel.

FOT is a great game. Its in the same vein as inal fantasy tactics and fire emblem: squad-based tactical turn based strategy/rp. I will freely admit the rp aspect of the game is very weak but all these types of games have weak stories with great combat. And the only bothersome thing i remember about the lore is that enclave-style power armor.

Also, didn't everyone get them on GoG? I know the instant i saw those games for free i grabbed them and saved them to a external harddrive.

An anthology sounds good to me, including Tactics.
