chameleon armor ,a combat armor that goes from woodland to urban to whatever ,its often puzzeled me how you can squat in the middle of a large open well lit area and be "hidden"
and a t51b with an intergrated pip boy cos that just looks silly ripping of the left arm ,build it into the sleeve !! EAGLES MAY FLY HIGH, BUT WEASLES DONT GET svckED INTO JET ENGINES

since in one of the concept arts there is a mutant mantis shrimp maybe you could have armor made of that.

Armor made out of Football pads/helmet, reinforced with strips of sheet metal.
Armor made out of dirtbike rider's padding, maybe with a rebreather & helmet.
Deep sea diver's suit?
Samurai-ish scalemail made with wasteland materials mixed with tribal armor elements.

hopefull?y there will be enough variety for different purposes, so not everyone will be marching in power armour.

the armor parts should each add a amount of stats that way there will be a mass up of parts people wear
