We've made it to Round 3 let's keep going! It takes like 5 seconds to make an account. We might have a chance of pulling in front of Assassin's Creed!

Ohh sorry. But at the same time, he doesn't have to say A Creed svcks balls. he can say he does not like it at all. That is more forum friendly and does not upset any one badly.

Not even the same genres.

But fallout is a memorable free world experience where you can make choices and play the way you want to play.

Assasins Creed is just some combo move reflex game with a linear storyline. Its pretty unremarkable as a franchise and I think prototype did it better. Who is even comparing them?

Lol I find it pathetic when people make threads to compare 2 games, and one of the games ihas people comparing it one its website. Its obvious most would choose fallout on the fallout site of course. Anyways, i think A Creed deserves to win. The plot is not completely linear, the world is open too, and there is much cool things to do in it compared to the empty wasteland of NV IMO. i'm sorry but i'd rather be a stealthy kick ass assassin than a courier walking through broken last gen graphics and freezing when I finally reach a town.

There was stealth in AC? jumping off a roof stabbing someone in broad daylight then useing the stupidity of the guards to hide on benches dosn't really strike me as stealth.

I did have fun with the wall climbing for awhile (AvP and prototype do this better though) but the story kinda tanked for me (DNA memory is just bad science even in video game) and replayability is basically nill since you can only ever kill the same targets with the same skills and abilities. It is linear, very linear. Jumping over a different house to get to the same place dosn't change that. But linear isn't a bad thing nessisarily either.

I don't think AC world is open either... Its a sandbox but still very limited in where you can go, and the cities and memory walls made me feel caged more then they made me feel free.

As for the crashes, I dunno, they are more frequent in the gamebryo engine but that detracts suprisingly little from my fallout experience. I just had a blast with choice making dialogue and playthrough styles.

Well, lucky for you. But a majority of Fallout players have so many crashes. Hell, I haven't read a review of Fallout NV that didn't mention the constant freezing so yeah. Anyways, we all have our opinion. Don't reply to this post, because I'm done with it.

You know it's AC the franchise vs Fallout the franchise, right? So that's all the Fallout games, not just NV.

I really liked AC2 (the only one I've played), thought it was excellent in fact, but c'mon, it (should be) no contest.

Though upon voting, I see AC has the edge. Bummer.

So we're gonna vote between an action adventure assassin game and a roleplaying series with emphasis on action and consequence?
I don't see how this poll makes sense as they're from two different genres.

I'd go with this
NV has soooooo many bugs and crashes it probably should never have been released! Take NV out the series and i'd say fallout would win........just

i didn't encounter many problems with 1,2, or 3. only downloaded the broken steel DLC, that froze a few times on me, but NV was a complete nightmare. I gave up on it months ago.

It varies from person to person, sometimes I don't encounter any bugs in FO2 while other times it can freeze during combat so it's never my turn.
Still, Fallout has a history for having buggy games on release.

I had more issues with FO3 than with FNV. FO3 wouldn't even run for me without freezing on startup without modifying some game files.

This is going a bit offtopic but one final thing:
In Fallout 3 I often had texture glitches, like, say there was a texture of something, then imagine it stretching out towards the horizon, everytime you look at that direction that texture would be clogging the view.
That has happened to me hundreds of times in FO3 while it has never happened in New Vegas.

New Vegas on the other hand is very peachy with it's freezing in just the right locations, like, I had just completed Legions quest line and the ending credits roll, then during the first ending slide it froze up...
It's also very keen on having tremendously long loading times.

In Fallout 2 I always had a problem with the highwayman.
It could disappear with it's trunk still in place.
Or the trunk could disappear but the car still in place.
And during slave runs for Metzgers Guild the combat would freeze when it came to my turn, I could still look around the map but I couldn't change my cursor to attack, move, view or anything else, it was always the arrow when you drag it to the side of the screen.

Buggy buggy games. :P
They're still better than Assassins Creed though.
I only played the first game and while it was fun it wasn't spectacular.

The first assassins creed was'nt that good. The other ones are far better.
Why are these games allowed to be released with so many problems? hopefully FO4 will address the issues that the previous games had. I still find it amazing that bethesda and obsidian can release a game with so many bugs and screen freezing. Its crazy
