This is a fan fiction script/synopsis for a short film I hope to produce in the near future, I'm leaving it here for general feedback. As well as safekeeping

Basic plot/setting: a story in the sierra madre based on 8 people there for different reasons but with the same goal, to find the treasure of the madre. Also, the possible origins and biology of the ghost people will be explored, as well as how they keep multiplying.

Among the ragtag group is a former chief of an amazonian female centric tribe, crushed by the legion, a manipulative NCR deserter, a legion frumentaari sent by Caesar to survey the area, a ghoul prospector, a member of the followers sent to survey the area and create a map for archives as well as scout for medical technology, a Fiend who just wandered in on a them binge, a Gun Runner sent to find some lost schematics and a man hired by a unnamed employer to survey the villa, casino, organize a hiest and record the patterns of those involved.

In this story you will learn first hand just how much worse things could have gone in Dead Money.

The story's intro is all I have in mind right now, two wastelanders are seen running through the cloud, presumably from ghost people. One gets snagged in a bear trap, as he pleads for help his partner strips him of all his gear, save for his pistol and one bullet. And leaves the man begging, screaming, swearing and crying in the middle of it. As the ghost people close in the man goes to end it all with his final bullet only for the gun to jam and break from wear and tear, the last we see is him being dragged into the cloud.
