...! Now I want to know what the other ranks do!
On double damage: we were right! Skill perks do 20/40/60/80/100% more damage, plus a bonus effect with each rank after the first!
That is awesome.
I gotta be honest, though. The pop-up animated Vault Boy is a bit distracting after a while. I kinda hope we can disable it if we get tired of seeing it every time we crit, Grand Slam, get crippled, etc.
Ugh... alternate link for those without Youtube accounts?
You dont have to have youtube account to watch it... or what do you mean??
Really weird seeing those people just sitting around when you do the last kill. Did they not even notice a life/death fight going on right there? Not real promising for the NPC AI in the game.
EDIT: It does look like they react at the end though, so maybe what you did was a sneak attack smackdown.
I did not know that I am always signed in to google and youtube. Updated my op with alternate link.
Thanks! And .38 rounds confirmed as an ammo type.
Cool, but kind of weird for this to just pop up on YouTube without the context of an article. I thought Bethesda.net was now supposed to be their main portal for new info drops? Anyway, nice to see some more in-game footage, even if it's only a few seconds.
They lately seem to show everything except the gameplay... lol
Well it seems this also gives us the answer to the question about the sectional armor you can craft. If you look at :14 you can see he is indeed wearing the armor over the Baseball uniform. So it seems you can wear the armor over any (or at least multiple) outfits.
I know, but up until this point we had only seen it with the vault suit which meant it might have only been possible with the vault suit. Now we have confirmation that it's not. If there's anything I've learned with video games, especially ones yet to release, it's never assume a feature.
Looks like the folks at Quakecon weren't kidding, and we can now look through container menus in real-time. 10 seconds in the video, you can see Diamond City Security's inventory before the corpse falls out of our crosshairs.
Earlier we can also see the crit meter incrementing as he kills that Raider Scum. Raider Scum!
14 days and 70 perks. Let's hope we get more than one a day.
I highly doubt they'd bother showing any of the old perks like Mr. Sandman or Bloody Mess, or anything as obvious as V.A.N.S (Ooh, a line! Chase it!). It's quite possible that there are only 14 new perks worth seeing in action.
