Fallout: Broken Carolinas

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 6:13 pm

STORY:
Prior to the great war, High Point was the capital of the furniture world, a small/moderate-sized metropolis which was special in it's own way, when the great war struck. the city was largely avoided due to the Chinese generous-behavior. During the great war, people were in the three vaults under the city, (which are numbered below!). The people of High Point slowly emerged in 2088 instead of 2100 and found the city unharmed and most electronics still running. They then built fortifications around the area and used a vault door as the entrance to the city. surprisingly, life went on normal for many people living in high point, and the only problem is a food storage which is still going on, due to a unknown force. many assume its the nearby colony of death claw’s, others just pass it off as a greedy person. they elected a number of people (you, the role-players) to go hunt for food in the wasteland of this quiet southern land. Meanwhile, some years later. You and other vault dwellers are given security batons and security armor and helmet and are instructed to go on the adventure to find out what's causing the food shortages and some miles away in the "Camp Baxter" a military-school like camp, which was bombed (but not nuked.). you and the other vault dwellers decide to take shelter here for a short time, some of the camp inhabits are ghoulifed, but of course not feral and are moving on to a other place. And the short time since the nukes are quite amazing for them to not be feral since most of the towns people in Greensboro was ghoulifed by the massive amounts of radiation (15,000 rads, to be precise.) and left them feral.

So modern guns, ala, AK-47, FN FAL, M16, (whihc were designed in the 50s) and their descendants are not allowed.

And I guess you are kind of going for a survival horror style?

Hmmph, well that is a plus side, and then kind of a downside.

Might throw a CS up, but I have 4 going now, so maybe not.

Also, added PM-63.

Despite being a 60s sub-machine gun, the game goes some what in to the 60's.

Would it be safe to assume you are allowing all guns from the Fallout universe? I ask cuz older games like Fallout 2 had guns like the tommy gun and the M3A1 Grease gun as well as the H&K G11 and the P-90.

Bah, I swear, your PS3 must hate you. Maybe you should threaten it with water immersion, or ask if it knows what hot wax will do to components :brokencomputer: .

Also, isn't the M1911 a pistol, not a machine gun?
