Problem: a raider stole my power armor while I was out questing, thats fine I tracked them down, killed them and took it back. Unfortunately I have it in pieces, due to the nature of looting a corpse... The game in no way allows me to reassemble the parts to recreate my power armor, the crafting bench wont even respond to me unless IM wearing the power armor, which as you can see is a catch 22 since I cant equip power armor parts without first being in a suit of power armor..
I need a fix or something this is such a stupid loop hole that never ends. Not sure why you would impliment a mechanic where something can be stolen, then when recovered never works again..
