Fallout Cartoon show

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 10:55 am

I was wondering if Bethesda would do a Fallout Cartoon show about 2013-2015 or so. I would be happy if they do it and show it TV. Like Cartoon networks, SubTV (Tv chanel from Finland) or MTV3 (also from Finland) and so on.

I brought those chanel bicause i live at Finland and most of the Cartoon or other type series come 3-4 yeras later than US. :fallout:

Yeah, I seriously doubt it. It's just not the kinda thing they do. Sorry.

Edit: However, you'll find plenty of fan-fiction, fan-art, and fan-made machinimas if that makes you feel any better..

I actually do not know what to say.

Perhaps I'll just point out this is in the wrong place and slowly leave...

Live action or bust!, because, lets face it, if it's a cartoon that means a crappy budget

I think that'd be too unimaginably horrible for words. And I have a very large vocabulary. It'd be that horrible.

I live in Finland too, so I really hope that if this does for some reason happen, it never reaches here. :P No offense.

Which actors would play who?

Liam Neeson would probably reprise his role as the dad, Will Smith as Three dogs maybe? and Morgan Freeman as the sheriff of Megaton (I haven't played the whole game through yet)

All the actors who would suit the role imo are too old (Clint Eastwood, Sam Worthington, Viggo Mortenson) maybe Elijhah Wood :P

I thought of both Sam Worthington and Christian Bale after watching Terminator Salvation, but again; too old..

Chris Pine perhaps?

If they did a Fallout show, it should be about a new character (or group).

No one would play the LW. They wouldn't give the PC from the games a name and a face. We are Lone Wanderer, for we are many. Wait, was I supposed to say legion. Anyway, my point is, the LW is anybody and everybody we want him or her to be.

I do like Christopher Lee though. Also, Im not so sure about Bridges. He's awesome, but I can't picture him playing Autumn. Mostly becuase the voice.

If it could be done well I would love to see a live action Fallout movie or TV series. The walking dead is a great example of a awesome TV show adaptation of a post apocalyptic world. It's zombies, not nukes. But you folks get the idea.

People get so caught up with the connotations of the word cartoon that they can't see the potential. Shows like Justice League, Batman: The Animated Series, and the new Young Justice (which is awesome, by the way) have been doing mature cartoons for a long while now. The new Ultimate Avengers cartoon does it as well. Not to mention anime have been making mature shows for decades.

A properly made, and properly animated (I would like to see a kind of film noir style) Fallout cartoon could be awesome.

You have to admit though, that it would be taken a whole lot more seriously if it was live action

Ahh Batman: The Animated Series. Best animated show of all time if you ask me. I love the film noir styling of that show. Everything about it is so perfect.

I wouldnt mind at all if they did a fallout mini-series.

If they made a Fallout movie, it would have to be based off of 1. Its the superior story, compared to the others anyway. 3 was basically 1 and 2s story combined and New Vegas was Fallout Protocol.

will never happen nor do I really want something like that to happen.

something I think would make a funny thing to do for maybe advertising or hell even a little cartoon short is something involving the Vault Boy. Like a little black and White PSA with the classic '50s narrator and the Vault Boy playing the straight man to the Narrator's commentary. Something akin to the intros of FO1/2 and the teaser for FO Brotherhood of Steel.

something like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu_YENZQCc4&feature=related

I'd originally linked to it but it's a bit inappropriate so just go on Youtube and type in "Fallout Brotherhood of Steel Clip"

I'd rather Fallout be kept out of the TV/Movie medium period. No live action or cartoons. The games should be enough, I think.
