So guys. Though I know the U.S. was pushing into Mainland China, and it can be presumed too that China met a similiar fate as us, but please tell me I wouldnt be the only one interested in seeing a game/dlc that shows us their fate.

I think it could be interesting although it would be very tricky to pull off.

I'm pretty sure it would. But I always wondered 'what happened to those T-51bs that were nearing Beijing?' and stuff of that sort. And instead of alot of '1950's America' there could be alot of indications of Americas brutal militarism against China. Prison camps for chinese soldiers, old trucks and tanks sitting rusting and decaying. It goes on and on.

American game developers might have a hard time selling a project that casts America in the villain role against what is considered one of their real-world allies.

I think it would be cool, but I don't think it would happen. :(

I think it would be interesting as a spinn-off but in my opinion the numbered titles should take place in America.

I think it should be a little side thing attached to the game

Yeah it would be great. Maybe it could be at chinese border and you could travel at the northest place what you could search would be some soviet union`s city what would be quite intact. But ofcourse that city would be just a minor place like a oldney or something like that in fo3, but bigger ofcourse. :)

But the main stuff would happen on the chinese soil ofcourse.

I voted No. If it came out I Pre-order it like any Fallout. I feel Fallout is a USA thing. Taking it over seas would be wierd. It would be a great game but theres better places. B)

With how they've got the US by the b@lls in reality, I don't really give a molerat's @ss what happened to those Chicoms even in FO. Last time I checked, there were Power Armor brigades closing in on Beijing, so China committed Scorched Earth IMO.

It would be very interesting but it would be very un-fallout like. a major draw to fallout is it's whole 1950's north american culture except mixed with crazy sci fi tech. Also, the game would have to be in English to draw a large audience, and hearing all characters with fake chinese accents would get annoying (and would probably also offend some people).

I would prefer all the Fallout games to be set in the former United States. I doubt I'd get the same libertarian "sense of life" while playing in China, and I'd miss the American history, symbolism, etc.

I wouldn't mind seeing a stand alone subseries or full-length add on.

The only problems would be scripting and appealing to both the Chinese and Americans.

You're not Colonel, sir!

Standing tall and proud to march with you into the depths of hell itself, SIR!

Kick sum zipperhead, pinko commie butt, Hoo-RAH!!

/me drinking three cups of coffee on an empty stomach in the morning ever again...

anyway, yeah. If done right -remanent expeditionay forces are grouped as just another warlord/tribe in the ruins of mainland china, the different being, it's a basically american tribe, and the only with any kinds of power armour. These would be seriously well used, custom repaired, and slightly unreliable.

The remanent tribe would be cautious towards all the other han chinese tribes around them, and visa vrsa as well, although there wouldn't be out and out war between them per sé, because face it, the war's been over for two hundred years.

There of course is the splinter faction within the American tribe who are more xenophobic, and there should be at least two han chinese tribes who give credit to that xenophobia. One of the anti american tribes wants the tech for their own warlord reasoning, the other just wants the american wiped out or driven off, because of what they did to China during the war -not realising they did the same to the us.

Against this back ground a lone.. operative using a refurbished vertibird is sent from San Fransisco across the Pacific to re-establish contact -the playing character is amerasian and will 'fit' in in both camps. But in sight of the chinese coast the vertibird cotaining the character is hit by something -lightning in a mega typhoon storm, antique ground to air missile still active.. whatever.

..and crash lands, with only limited supplies pulled from the wrecked vertibird, and off he/she goes.

something like this? :)
