Fallout Colection: Tactics Issues

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 1:10 am

Hello everyone. I'm new here, obviously, and I have a problem. I got the Fallout Collecton CD...oh...about a week and a half ago. I put the disc in, and nothing happened, so I finally decided to use run and manually find each installer. 1 and 2? Perfect. Tactics? Took a week. I would click on install and nothing would happen. It finally installed last night, and when I went to play it!...it told me to insert the Fallout: Tactics CD. Which I quite oviously do not have since I own the Collection. Not Tactics itself. And yes I made sure the disc was in and clean. So what do i do?

The White Label collection? What Operating System are you running? Not that it should matter.

Maybe you have a corrupt disc. These factory faults can happen. But based on your info it's not clear exactly what it could be.

EDIT: Try and install/run it on a different computer, and see if you get simliar results.

White label? Does that mean there's a white label on it? Lol. It's just the Fallout Collection. Thats what it's called. I think its the European version. And I'm on XP...it's like four years old or so.

Lool, no White Label was one of the lastest boxset trilogy releases. Maybe region specific, possibly UK.

I'd advise you to uninstall Tactics, restart your PC and try again. Is there a seperate launcher.exe on the disc that is separate from the individual title installers? If there is you should try and re-install it through that launcher, failing that just try and install it again like you did before and hope for the best. Though I still think you should try it on another PC and compare results if it still refuses to work properly on your machine.
