Fallout compatibility

Hi. I just wanted to know if anyone knows if fallout 1,2 or tactics works with vista?
I've been getting so many mixed opinions on the internet that I figured I might as well ask here, Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah, I have 32-bit home edition.

GOG.com guarantee their games work with Vista.

I cannot vouch for any others...

I got my Fallout compiled for Win 95/98(whatever its called) to run under Vista thanks to Timeslips engine updates or whatever its called.
Fallout 2 i borrowed from a friend was compiled against NT(2000, XP, Vista, Win7), and it ran perfectly.

The one interplay sells you(from their website) is compiled against NT, so it would run perfectly under Vista.

A big note, you never compile yourself. Its closed source software afterall.

GOG is true to their word. All 3 of the original games work just great on my Vista 64 system. Only thing that won't work is the restored content for Fallout 2. It crashes my system if I try to play F2 with it installed. I'm guessing that's because it hasn't been compiled to make it play nice with Vista..

I can run the original CD versions of Fallout 1 and 2 just fine in Vista as long as I run the installers in administrator mode (which is off by default, I think). I have the White Label pack for Tactics, so I'm not sure if the original version works with Vista.
