Fallout NV Crash to Desktop in Fullscreen : Fallout: New Vegas

Hello there.

I have a Problem with FNV. I can start and play the game, but after about 5-10 minutes the game just stops working (sound/music still plays in the background). Sometimes i crash back to desktop with the error Message that the game just stopped working, sometimes the graphics just freeze and i have to manually terminate it with the taskmanager. A single time i crashed to the desktop and ATI Recover told me that the graphic card driver stopped working and had to be recovered.
Drivers are all up to date, Windows 7 is also.

In a german forum someone told me that i should try to play the game in windowed mode, so i did and saw that the game ran stable for more then 5 hours in a row. Then i switched back to fullscreen and after 7 minutes again a CTD.

DxDiag will be attached to this posting, i hope someone might be able to help me out why the game just does not work properly in fullscreen mode, cause i just don′t like to play in a small letterbox on my destop.

Ok, symptoms have expandet.

Now i also get freezes in the windowd mode. It takes max. 20 minutes and the game freezes up. After about 20 seconds the game closes itself and i get a taskbar message that AMD Driver had to be restored.

There also appeared 2 new absolute exceptionals beside the above written ones, where the game froze, the screen turned black, and after about 30 seconds my system just turned off - completly. I have to add that the win7 option to shutdown the
system when a bluescreen appeares is NOT active, that means it′s not a windows initiated bluescreen shutdown.

Don't forget where you are. We are gamers here writing questions to and making suggestions back to each other, not directly to Bioware. There is another site for that. Workarounds are what gamers end up using while waiting to see what may come from those who have the source code, such code as both the game's and the video drivers'

Thats true for sure, but where the heck is the best place to give as much information as possible to help to get rid of a problem then here at the forums?

I am just trying to explain my problem with the informations i can provide from my side, if more informations are requested i can for sure give them i think.

And my main problem is actually not just that i don′t like the workaround, my main problem is that for some reason the workaround ALSO stopped working and starts to crash to desktop, even in the windowed mode.
