So am I dude, I want to play the game. BETHESSSDAAAAAAAAAA

Yeah, they talk about a part of the bug (BoS Vertibird) but don't mention it occurs around an area and effects more then one quest

Yeah, I dont think it is the UFO. I didn't see one, at least but my perceptiveness is like a 1, 2 at max

And cheers about the Norhy thing, I'll put put that on post. Thanks!

Hopefully it'll work for you but I've heard of people restarting saves and even upgraing OS to have it come back. Hope it'll be fine for you now though! :)

I'll try and for a workaround Emogene Takes a Lover in a few hours

It is only a link to all known bugs, I don't know what else to say.

Making a new game worked for me, and I can only recommend this option. I suggest following my previous posts about it. I have done several other quests and I am, so far, still able to return to the area.
If you do not wish to join BoS, I suggest running straight to the area and explore it, then do the main quest before trying other quests.

To be realistic, and to speak plain, patching has never done anything good for save files. Data saved are normaly not changed by patches, so if something is wrong within the save, which we think, it still will not work.

I have the exact same problem. I'm gonna create a new profile and see what happens. Wish me luck. :)

EDIT: https:// www.youtube. com/watch?v=QIZobthYPdM here's a link for what happens for me.

You better make a great movie about it.

Run to the problem area first, to make sure you aren't crashing right away.

Is there a way to just completely reset the cell even if it breaks the quest. You can always just consoel the quests fixed but the cell needs to be fixed

Well lads, this svcks. I don't think i am going to play anymore until there is a patch. I have put about 30 hours into my save and i dont feel like playing more not knowing if the patch will fix my save or not. And i certainly do not want to start over not knowing for sure if the same issue will occur again. I am really not pleased with bethesda's lack of involvement in their own forums. They can't even have somebody drop by to give us an update on when there will be a patch? Poor show if you ask me.

Bethesda CAN fix the problem while saving our saves in the process. I have a life outside of Fallout 4 and no time to restart a character that I have already put hours of work into. If Bethesda CANT solve the problem without saving my saves, I will just give up playing the game and be a lot more weary of purchasing their products in the future.

I created a new save. It worked. I no longer crash when going to the location.

yeah, same thing happens when you load back a save a few hours. We think it happens after you past a location or something because it tends to crash after some hours of game time. cheers for gettin back

Well we already knew old saves worked. There is something that triggers the issue and until we know what the trigger is i dont really see the point in restarting from an old save. But good luck man, i hope it stays good for you.

Nice too see you have the same results as I.

On a sidenote, the music from the game is copy-righted, your youtube account could get a strike for playing it. :)

I think it is time to realize the bug comes along with a quest - or an event that comes with a quest, that spawns or otherwise changes something within the area. The area we are talking about is the area shown in AsaAkiraSE videos.
I have played 32 hours on my second playthrough - the one I have posted about here too, and I am still able to access the area just fine.

The best way, would be to systimaticly go through quests that are not the main quest, and access the area for each step. I have done so for the main quest and some BoS missions and institude but it gets tiresome.

Yeah dude, we tried going through saves and we ended up getting to around the Valentine area but as more people have been coming to this topic, some people have said they haven't even got that far yet but still played for a few hours so something must change the area or something.

Or Bethesda implanted a self-destructing bug in a conspircy to take over the world. #spooky

IIt's annoying as we've not heard a single thing, I understand a company like Bethesda has a lot to work on but we've all bought the game on realse or close to it and havent even been able to play properly for £50/$60 which is just BS at this point

Hey guys,

I have been lurking this thread since its inception (had these problems on day 1) and just made an account to chime in.

I have 3 quests that are bugged like this

1. Silver shroud - kill Northy

2. BOS vertibird ride

3. Hunter/hunted

I am level 35, and am cannot progress in the game any further.

Love the game but I am not restarting as I already have 35 hours invested in my character, especially when there is no guarantee it wont happen again. I am also not using console commands to cheat my way past the quest.

Real shame Bethesda cant even chime in or even a rough patch release date.

Game is unplayable for me now and I pray for a patch everyday.

Really disappointing and will definitely think twice before buying anything Bethesda in the future.

" It just works" no , no it doesn't. this is stuff that should have been cleaned up before it hit the consumers!

A patch is not likely to save your savefile. It only modifies the game data, the data that is corrupt will still be in your save. This is my theroy. Seen it plenty of times.

I have 62 hours played, and 31 of them is the new save that works so far. It is not so bad. =)

No I have not.

I suppose I could try it right now.

Well welcome to the thread!

Those 3 bugs are all on the first post if you're on PC but I'm sure you've seen that already. they're not ideal but can get you through until we get a patch which I think should fix it.

Yeah i know what you mean, not hearing a single thing about even the thought of a upcoming patch just svcks, not played properly in a while now and get tired of waiting :/ I'm only like 10-15 hours in

It's quite funny seeing the people following this forum go from 7 to 5, my inbox is literally filled with this post hahaha, that fine though, i gett a beep when it updates
