Please link to this thread instead of a video as somebody might need help with another quest in the area.
See the 2nd post for things we've tried so you don't have to go through the whole thread

Original Message
Hi,
Been playing for around 10 hours now with no problems and now doing a Settlement quest where I have to go to Monsignor but everytime I go there it crashes straight to the desktop without any error message, there isn't one in the Event Viewer either. I've searched for a while before posting but only found some other people who have had this crash on Reddit (They were doing the BoS questline), I've tried the Beta patch but it's the same.
My System is Intel I5 4670k, 8GB RAM, GTX 970, playing on SSD at 1080p. Windows 8.1.
Seriously any help is really appreciated, cheers for taking time to look at this.
________________
When it appears
It seems to appear once you've pasted a certain past in the story (either Valentine or killing a certain somebody after rescueing Valentine). Other people have gone to previous saves before then or started new games and been able to do all quests in the area.
The trigger is not the minutemen settlement quest as described in the original message, most people are having the problem without doing/starting that quest.
It could also appear after you unlock/pass a certain location.
If you go back to an earlier save with the crash, you'll probably find you don't crash there so it happens at some point later.
It occurs on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
No matter what direction you try to enter the area, it'll crash. Entering the area via console commands, fast travelling or just walking into it will crash the game.
Not everybody is getting the crash either, lots of people have completed the game but it's still fairly popular and the Reddit megathreads have had this bug as the most common.
It is fairly Game-Breaking as many main story quests go through this area making the game impossible to complete if you have the bug and don't use console commands.

Quests we don't don't have Workarounds for yet
If yours isn't here then post it and I'll put it here and if you have a fix, we'd love to hear it and put it here too
If you do post a quest that we don't have a workaround for then giving a location as to where to find the quest will help... a lot (if it's a spoiler then use a spoiler tag, trying to keep this as spoiler-free as possible)
- Butchers Bill 2 (Check http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1546438-fallout-4-crash-in-specific-area/?p=24562920to see the request. It's a railroad quest. Thanks!)
Workarounds
To open the console, press the tidle key (left to the 1) or the apostrophe key (where the @ sign is + shift)
The Workarounds have been tested but save before using them in case, typing something in wrong could cause something different to happen
Most of the Workarounds don't skip that much unless they say otherwise.
We've tried to keep this as spoiler-free as possible so you should be fine

Skipping to area (workaround #1)
If you're having a problem with this Shadow of Steel quest where you crash on the Vertibird then the videos below may help.

Silver Shroud Quest (PC)
Skip Northy part (Workaround #1)
Step by step
This quest is outside so I can't spawn you near the person unfortunately but like the rest of the Silver Shroud quests, you just have to kill somebody so we'll use the console to do it.
Save before this one, I did this and it worked but I had a different quest bugged so I cant be sure if the full quest will complete. (I removed a quest from my log which caused the
Den to be bugged, i dun goofed up. lawl) If it worked please post here! If not then do the same and Ill make sure it works, would do that now but super tired. should work tho! cheers
1.) be told to kill Northy
2.) open console
3.) player.setstage MS04 900
4.) continue with quest
If the game tells you to search Northys body then use the command
setstage MS04 1000
__
Avoid area / Agro
You can also kill Northy by shooting him and not going into the crash area, may require trial and error so save is advisable (see page 4)
You can also shoot at him to agro him towards you, allowing you to kill him.
If the game tells you to search Northys body but you can't go towards him because of the crash then use the command
setstage MS04 1000

Quartermastery (PC)
Turn in quest (Workaround #1)
Quartermastery is a repeatable quest which will tell you to get an item, sometimes though the item is
in Morsignor area so it'll crash. You can use the method below to skip getting the item and hand in the quest.
Step By Step
1.) Be told to get a something
2.) Open console
3.) write player.setstage bosr02 40
4.) Turn in quest

Turn in quest (Workaround #1)

then use the code below to be able to turn in the quest.

Nuclear Option (PC)
The two links below is from this thread where somebody has found a Workaround, I'm linking to it as don't have much
context to create a Step By Step but if you're having the crash then you probably know when to use it.

Boston after Dark (PC)
Complete objectives (Workaround #1)
Most of Boston after Dark's quests are outside so we can't move you to the location unfortunately.
The link below is from somebody on this forum who knows which parts you have to skip and with
the commands.

Battle of Bunker Hill (PC)
Complete quest (Workaround #1)
I recommend saving before this one, I haven't been able to test it as I'm not that far - sorry.
The only Workaround I've heard of is completeing the quest at a certain point (heard a lot of objectives in the area).
I haven't been able to look at the quest as I'm not that far yet but if you know the steps to use to get round the crash
then we'd love to hear them
To complete the quest use
setstage inst302 200
The quest giver may not return to his old position though so you can spawn him to you by doing to activate the next quest.
(check if you can carry on first)
prid 0005c337
moveto player
in the console.

Emogene Takes a Lover
Go around the crash (Workaround #1)
The reason people are crashing on this quest seems to be becuase one of the objectives is located close to the
crash area meaning you should be able to go around to get to the location, Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Spawn at you (Workaround #2) (PC)
You can also use the link below to get Emogene to spawn at you

Lots of credit to Northfield. This seemed like an annoying quest to make a Workaround for.

Operation Ticonderoga (PC)
Somebody on the thread has been able to give instructions about this quest, it does
require some setstage commands so a save is advisable as it's slightly more tricky.

Ad Victoriam (PC & Console)
Fast travel slightly (Workaround #1)
Before starting the quest, make sure you have the C.I.T ruins on your pipboy unlocked and available for fast travel.
I haven't tested this but it should work and doesn't require any console commands so just save before

Of course, none of these are ideal (they are workarounds, not fixes) but there isn't any other way I have found unfortunately. If you have any workaround for any quest located in the area then post it and I'll update it here.
