Hello, i recently went out and bought Fallout 3 for the PC. When i went to install it, i got to about a 5 of the way done, and got a message saying-

Feature: defaultFeature
Component:Fallout 3
File: E:\data2.cab
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Once i said ok, it cancelled installation.

What can i do to fix this, and install the game?

was this the disc version? if so it sounds like it could have been a bad press & you should try exchanging it for a working copy

Yes, it came in a case from a store. That is a good idea. When i get a chance i will go exchange it. Thank you.
