Fallout 4 Director Mode? (Movies, series...)

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 4:43 am

First of all, is there a mode like this? I am a videomaker, I edit stuff for Youtube and I'd love to make a Fallout 4 short film. The game itself is a cartwheel of emotions and talented videomakers could show the best parts of the whole thing. I myself get goosebumbs when watching the "Fallout 4 - The Wanderer Trailer".

The default first person and third person views ain't enough for an artistic video, so maybe if someone could mod something like a Director mode (like in GTA V for example) it would be fantastic! A camera what you could move anywhere you want, and film like a pro.

Do anyone agree with me? Am I alone (as I searched for this topic but didn't find anything about it here)?

I hear there are outside programs that let you record video from a video game maybe look into that?

Glad I'm not the only one! :) My Youtube channel is found when typing "Lasselsson" to the search bar! (As links aren't allowed here)

Haven't done gaming videos yet, but if a director feature is added I'll make a Fallout one for sure.

There's some console commands you can use to move the camera freely. 'tfc 0' and 'tfc 1'. Other one freezes time too, but I don't remember which. I haven't used them much. The command 'tm' hides the HUD, menu screens and the console view itself, so you'll have to turn them back on without seeing what you're typing. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_console_commands

You can open the console by pressing '?' on Finnish keyboard.
