FALLOUT 4 DLC best location (IMO)

Post » Mon Dec 07, 2015 6:36 am

Dunwich, Kingsport, Innsmouth, or Arkham. It would be neat to investigate Miskatonic University!

As for real locations I wouldn't mind south of Boston to Cape Cod since I grew up in New Bedford, I'm familiar with the area.

But actually, I'm more that happy to play any Fallout 4 DLC so Toronto is good for me too!

Seconded, though not necessarily the part about the gauss rifle. I wouldn't want to piss off a Great Old One!

Fallout should not explore other countries - The closest I would be willing to accept would be Canada, for obvious reasons, but only as DLC.

The Fallout universe is the post-apocalyptic States. Plus, I like the situation of other countries remaining a mystery.

Ok I cannot help myself so i'm going to say it. Fallout 4: Black Flag.

Yeah I know weird.

I loved Assassins creed 4 black flag.

I'd love to see similar in fallout 4.

How about dlc where an abandoned pre war ship of some kind runs aground and is mostly intact. At some point in fallout 4 you are connected to a faction or two, so you can get together with your allies to survey the vessel and refit it for use.

Then you have a totally new exploration mechanic to utilise.

With use of the Building construction system the final look and abilities of each "Finished" vessel will be different each time.

With exploration along the east coast the possibilities are endless.

It would need a reliable fuel source and a lot of it. Unlikely.

I personally would like to see A "Farewell to Nova Scotia" DLC, with Halifax and its surrounding area. Boston and Halifax have quite a few similarities, as well as a good connection between the two places IRL.

That is probably just my Maritime-er Bias Showing through, though.

A completely nuked, irradiated new York city. Can only be on the surface for a limited time due to the radiation, entire dlc is underground. Have to fight your way through like "the warriors" had to fight their way to coney island. Could have warriors inspired gangs too. Victory brings a new radio station and dj, melee perks, radiation resistance perks, and unique crafting recipes. Gangs want to kill you because your from Boston hahaha

Sounds like the coolest idea here. It could have it own underground settlements like Metro 2033 or Last light.

Kind of what I was thinking. Union station would be a killer settlement. The bottom levels of the natural history museum, museum of modern art... just some ideas. The tops of all the buildings burying the lower levels. Accessible by subway tunnels, and tunnels made by some giant freaky new creature

I really like this idea. It also explains why no one ever mentions NYC in F3, it being all underground, they don't know anything is there.

Three locations that I would love to see as DLC

Salem, Massachutes. Haven't seen anything that suggests we are getting it. And maybe some thing to tie in with Providence, RI though I don't think it would be needed to get some Supernatural and dare I say Lovecraft infused DLC created.

Atlantic City, NJ. The boardwalk, the casinos, the Jersey shore... I'd be curious to explore that within the confines of the FO universe. ESPECIALLY if it comes with some ghouls and super mutants who behave like rejects from The Jersey Shore.

Best location.. and people mention canada? :bunny:

Good lord, I'd rather see something other then a desolate wasteland. :icecream:

On a more serious note, I'd like to see famous areas wrecked. Great wall of china, Pyramids, eiffel tower, big ben... Basically anything that has lots of new landscape that I can get my grubby modding hands on.

Canada is part of the US in the Fallout universe. War-time annexation.

I so hope to see some Lovecraftian references or Inspired plots in DLC if not the base game itself!

Ugh. The Fallout Site-seeing syndrome returns.

I personally have a hope that the DLC this time around will remain in the vanilla world, but simply add on to it with extra connected world spaces and content rather than feeling obligated to go somewhere else completely.
