Some things I personally believe should be added to the game are things like more modern strucural elements. We should be able to build walls, floors, roofs, and furniture in our settlements like Covenant and the Cabot house have. I also think and hope that this will be added in automaton, that we can build protectrons, sentery bots, and things like that to help defend our base.

Alot of people including myself don't use mods. I'd rather have official content regardless of if mods could of done it or not. I don't get the fascination with relying on mods.

It seems bethesda looks at what people mod in; theres alot of mods that bring in changed up robot companions, add settlement items and let you have pet wasteland creatures..

So, theyve put both them in officiallya nd are releasing a big landmass to explore after.. Pretty good so far

As long as that's not what they meant about bringing mods to consoles.

Mods are just way more polished and community friendly. They offer exactly what the people want and there are so many of them that everyone will find what he wants.

They also get released way quicker. Mods like Automatron and the Wasteland Workshop would be released within a few weeks... and now we'll have to wait months for them.

It even seems like they're holding the GECK down, because of those 'non-story' DLCs.

It just makes a huge difference if a game made by ~100 people gets released to thousands of modders.

We get so much more content with mods and it's the main reason why Bethesda's games are selling so well.

I want a good dungeon crawl, something like the metro tunnels in FO3 but with some narrative elements.

Something that you guys should really take into consideration is that you are a minority out of all the players. Most people playing the game don't visit the forums at all, maybe only when they have a question on how to do certain things. So please, don't think you could talk for everyone, aka "we, the players", because you are just a few. Now of course, that does not mean that you should not suggest things, I'm sure some of those suggestions would also be to the liking of those that remain silent. Just be aware that you can not talk on behalf of "all the players".

This, only, I would hope that story DLC would come with new gear and whatnot.

Also, Dog armor DLC when? :P

Something you need to take into consideration is that Bethesda uses these forums as a place to gather feedback. Players who don't give any feedback online essentially don't have a voice at all which makes them irrelevant when it comes to the topic of feedback.

As to what I want for dlcs.....I want less filler and more high quality dlcs that many were expecting from Bethesda. Less of this Wasteland workshop BS and more things like Far Harbor.

How do ou expect to have Bethesda to know what any of us want then? Unless you have a personal connection with the developers of fallout 4.

gear should be part of story DLC's... yup :D

They can even introduce new settlement parts, if they have settlements within the new region within the story DLC, that you can use in your main game as well ^^

I just hate to see those 'micro-transactions' and settlement features being sold for extra money, instead of actual real DLCs like we had in F3 and FNV

We want a new start/origin short story dlc that allows us to use special traits in dialogue where we can be a raging lunatic that looks like Pete Hines. Oh wait that's just me.... :brokencomputer:

oh snap!!! tell em!!! :goodjob:

Also one of the reasons I joined their forums here is that I heard they listen to the ones on their site more than something like reddit, and thought that it was weird that people were telling me there would be no "SPECIAL" dialogue choices in this game(apparently it was something some people didn't care about on these forums...or because the success of skyrim even without that type of dialogue...or.. idk why they did it.. I am still surprised.....) and then it happened.........

ps i'm sure they listen to their kids interests more than what we say on the forums because no one I knew expected or wanted any minecraft type building aspect in the game and especially didn't want the SPECIAL dialogue removed...

pps I wonder what type of games they'll produce once they're older...if you know what i mean.. :liplick:

pss this post may contain things that are not to be taken seriously...

I want a DLC with my prewar family, something to give me a reason to care more about what happens to them in the game.

This, i was talking about this with my friend, the memory den needs to see more use as a whole methinks, i want to be able to see more of the Pre-war era without Bethesda stomping all over canon, the memory den is the perfect answer to this.

But if you rely on mods, surely Bethesda shouldnt bother creating any DLC, as it can all be done ''more polished'' and ''quicker'' by modders?

Official content is just much better than mods in my opinion.

The only mods i use are little mods that make little changes or mods like the True Storms mod. I dislike using mods that add content to the game.

I understand what you're getting at BUT you have to keep in mind that a good majority of the fanbase plays on consoles and up until this gen mods were not possible. Now supposedly they are but who's to say we're going to get the mods people want?

Your suggestion is pretty much what Bethesda did in 2013 when they ran away from Skyrim, left the console versions kinda broken to work on the next project leaving the modding community to fix their mistakes and guess who suffered for it?

WE, the HOME CONSOLES USERS, DID.

Also i'd much rather have official content by the devs then leaving everything up to modders. Sorry while i do want mods, despite not knowing when PS4 users will get it, we can't just leave stuff to the modders. An argument like that could be made for both story based dlc new areas and what not for mods too.

That'd be pretty cool.

What i want is a Mad Bomber workbench to create ammo, like mini-nukes. Adding the ability to create clothing and armor out of the stuff we have in your workbench and a way to recolor outfits we have. Imagine recoloring the Vault suit black or red? :)
