Fallout 3 - DLCs

Post » Sun Feb 01, 2015 1:37 am

Hey.

I just bought Fallout 3 recently and bought the Game of the Year Edition.

Because of that, I have receiven all dlcs.

It includes (Operation Anchorage, Mothership Zeta, The Pitt, Broken Steel and Point Lookout)

I wonder which to complete first.

So far I have:

- Completed Operation Anchorage

- Currently doing Mothership Zeta

I want to know which of the dlcs to complete afterwards and in what order.

Whichever you fancy, there's no overarching story linking the DLCs, so you can try whichever you like. I would recommend one but I only did Operation: Anchorage and Broken Steel.

The only ones you can complete would be The Pitt or Point Lookout. Order of completion doesn't matter. Broken Steel does not become active until the completion of the Fallout main quest.

Well, you got the two worst ones out of the way, so that's a good start!

The DLCs aren't connected in any way so there is no specific order they go in. However, as M48A5 said, the Broken Steel quests take place after the main quest line, so you'll have to get that out of the way first. But I believe the Broken Steel content is automatically added into the game (the new enemies, perks, weapons, armor, etc.). So you'll be able to see that stuff regardless of completing the main quest line.

I consider both the Pitt and Point Lookout to be the better DLCs of Fallout 3. The Pitt more so focused on conflict between factions, while Point Lookout offers a more vast area to explore.
