Fallout 4 doesn't start

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 1:03 pm

Good evening dear Bethesda Support,
I've some really big issues getting this game to run.
Here's a list of thoses things I've allready tried but without any changes:
  1. I've downloaded the game three times and checked the data via steam
  2. Tried to run the game with firewall on and off
  3. Tried to run the game with anti virus on and off
  4. Set the game on whitelist from anti virus and firewall
  5. Tried to run the game with admin mode on fallout4.exe and steam.exe
  6. Tried to run the game with window mode borderless, full screen, window mode small resolution
  7. My graphic card driver is up to date
I've only received an error message when I try to run the Fallout4.exe but it seems I'm not allowed to post / add this error message here.
I hope that someone can help me with this problem and get this game to run.
Greetings,
Abraxolon

Ok m8, so I have somehow fixed it for me, it may not be the best way but its the only one I've found. I have uninstaled geforce game ready drivers and here http://www.geforce.com/driversI have found the oldest drivers. Mine was 352.86 version, it's like half year old. And after I've instaled those the game is working.

Try it for yourself, it might help. If this version won't help, try the other one, just not the newest.

Tell me if it helped

Thanks for your answer.

I tried some of the older versions, but none of them changed the result.

But I accidently found an error message, whit a code: 0x0000007b

And when I googled this code, it was said, that the X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing.

I downloaded it from a site and copied it in the main folder from Fallout 4.

And finally the game starts!

If you re-install the DirectX End-User Runtimes should fix your error.

(Uncheck MSN default homepage & Bing default search engine, and then No thanks and continue)
