Yes I know what you’re thinking, and no I’m not crazy. I know these are two completely different games but they are two of my favourite video game series, if your fans of both series you’re probably going to like it, or at least I hope you will. This fan fiction won’t be that long maybe a little more than ten chapters if it is well received I may make more chapters, who knows? Anyways here’s the first chapter! Oh one more thing, this fan fiction is first person it’s, the main character is Lucius Black a descendant of William Black who was the post powerful hero of all time and the creator of will which is the magic in the Fable universe.

Fallout/Fable Crossover

Introduction

Albion, Bower Lake

I had been spending most of my time in Bower Lake, life in Bowerstone was to plain for me, life here was much more entertaining and the scenery was a hell of a lot better. I didn’t know what I was going to do today; I was leaning towards practicing my will, an ability I can thank good ol’ Will for. After a few more minutes of thinking I decided on practicing my will, I started of conjuring fireballs and the occasional shock and force push, but I started to get bored with these spells very quick and decided to hit the book I got a few weeks ago from Bowerstone about will. I read through the spells looking for something interesting and came across a spell called Portal. The idea was you could conjure up a gate into another world, something very similar to a cullis gate, there was a warning that this spell was only for the most powerful will users but hell the creator of will was one of my ancestors, if there was anybody who could do this spell it would be me.

I followed the directions the book provided me and I instantly became weak as a dark purple and blue gate appeared in front of me, I fell to my knees and collapsed to the ground, I couldn’t take my eyes off of the portal, it was the only thing I saw as I regained my strength. Once I got myself up from the ground I stepped into the portal, as my right foot slowly entered the portal my whole body was svcked in and I was sent flying through nothing, it was completely white there was nothing in site but the white soon turned to black, I saw nothing. I was terrified, I had no idea what was going on but soon a world started to form around me but I blacked out.

When I awoke it felt like a had slept for an eternity as I regained my senses I saw where I was, this was no place like Albion, this was a desolate place, it was dry and hot and there was nothing but ruins. I immediately panicked and regretted my decision, when I calmed down I realized that only I went through the portal my possessions where left behind, like things weren’t bad enough. During another fit of rage I accidentally conjured a fireball; it was good to know I still had a way to defend myself.
I didn’t know where I was but I knew what I was going to do, find some shelter and get some sleep. It didn’t take me long to find it, it was strange the language they used was the same as ours. I entered a Gas Station and got cozy in the corner of the station, after thinking about what had just happened I began to fall asleep, who knew what tomorrow would be like.

CHAPTER 1

My eyes slowly opened to a terrifying creature, it was a disfigured pinkish creature that loosely resembled a rat. I jumped to my feet, this ugly creature horrified me I went to turn around and run but the creature jumped at me and bit left arm, the creature also managed to tackle me to the ground in the process. I quickly conjured a fireball and whipped it at the creatures face killing it instantly, I got back on the ground and cursed about my injury, the bastard got me good. The wound was deep, but I was a hero, soon enough it would be healed, but it didn’t mean I had to loose blood I ripped off a portion of my shirt and wrapped it around the wound, so far things were going terrible.

I left the gas station while cursing away, when I got out a saw a man, it looked just like a man would in Albion, I was shocked, was this somehow an alternate version of Albion? I yelled hello to the man, and he yelled back saying, “Would you quite it down, do you want Raiders to attack us! Get over here!” I quickly ran over to the man.

“Hello.” I said with a smile, “You’re a weird guy ain’t you? [censored]. What the [censored] are you wearing? Is that one of them Vault Suits? Can I buy it off you?” replied the man, I decided to go along with the man if they were some form of currency it was best I had it. Obviously what I was wearing wasn’t a Vault Suit but if he didn’t know what one looked like I wasn’t going to throw away the opportunity. As I went to take off my shirt I realized I would be nvde, I needed some clothes with this deal to.

“Sorry pal, no deal, you can still buy my Vault Suit but I am going to want some clothes to. I ain’t walking around nvde.” I said sternly. The man grunted and then sighed, “Fine I’ll give you one of them mercenary jumpsuits. This blue one ought to do it.” The man grabbed the jumpsuit and threw it at me, I caught the shirt and he quickly said “Go behind the rock and change. And you’re not getting nearly as much as you would if there was no tear in your shirt!”

I went behind the rock and got into the jumpsuit, it was surprisingly comfortable, much more than my previous clothing, I was extremely happy with this deal. I picked up my old clothing and went back to see the merchant, unfortunately when I saw him he was pointed something that resembled a pistol, could this world have advanced weaponry? I was shocked.

“Give me the Vault Suit, you can leave with the clothes your wearing but you ain’t getting any caps. You’re lucky I’m being nice today.” Said the man in an angry tone, “Fine, since you’ve screwed me over this much can you at least give me some directions, what’s the closest town?” the man grunted once again and then proceeded to spit on the ground, “[censored]. You just come out of the Vault? Ha ha new to the wasteland. Alright I’ll give you a chance to live your life the closest town in Megaton, it’s the town I just came from, I’m headed to Rivet City its much farther away but it’s worth the journey. But I ain’t bringing you along; with the things I’ve done to you you’d just stab me in the back. See you later [censored].”

The man continued on his journey and I walked down the road he was coming from, a few minutes later I came across a sign that said Megaton and an arrow pointing right down a dirt trail, I followed the trail and a few minutes later came across a giant metal structure, I could only assume this was Megaton. When I found the entrance to this structure I realized that it was Megaton. As I walked into Megaton I saw something so strange and bizarre, it was a metal thing that vaguely resembled a man, it was alive but it was a machine. It was fascinating. I stood in front of it and he greeted me saying, “Howdy partner. Welcome to Megaton.” I started to laugh out of pure excitement, “You can talk! That’s amazing!” the machine started to speak again, “Please stand clear of the gate as it opens.” As soon as the machine finished that sentence a loud noise came out of nowhere and caused me to jump out of fear, I turned around to see the gate opening, there it was Megaton, I could see building made of metal and men and women walking around. As I walked in I saw a man that looked like the men from Samarkand, he walked up to me with an angry look.

“I recognize that jumpsuit, you’re a mercenary! Megaton is hectic as it is and if your here to cause trouble then you can turn around and get the [censored] out of my town!” yelled the man. I was confused at first and then remembered the clothing deal from earlier, “Oh no you’ve got it all wrong sir. I was previously in Vault clothing I was going to sell it to him but he ripped me off, luckily he let me have this jumpsuit.” I replied. He stared at me for a bit and then started to talk again, “I don’t know why but I believe you, Megaton is packed as it is so if you’re here to stay go to the common house, its packed but it’s the only place you can go unless you have the caps to rent a place.” Knowing I had no caps I accepted the common house, got directions, thanked the man who identified himself as Lucas Simms and made my way to the common house. When I entered I was saddened, it was packed, I would have no privacy, thankfully no one was around the right corner so I took the spot and spread myself out so no one would sit beside me. This wasn’t the greatest place but at least I was safe, I eventually got used to my awkward position and slowly fell asleep.

The character needed more of an adaption to tis new world. As I recall Fable is old-world, so he should talk, think and act as such. When in conversation, he should have first had to adjust his speech to fit in with the people here. Moe attention t the world and surroundings should probably have been mad lso little things that people do when shoved into an alien place. For example, who I decuce t be Lucas Simms sad something about caps. Your character should have thought to himself what is caps, because back in Albion they don't have caps, just corks.

Don't get me wrong though, this is enjoyable, and I will stay tuned.

Your right, I realized I've left a lot of that out, but it's something I should add. I'll work on that in the next chapter. Thanks for your input Ant1iv3 :).

CHAPTER 2

When I awoke the common house was empty, I had obviously overslept, I got on my feet and left the common house with no idea what to do. I knew I wanted to go back to Albion but I had no idea how, I could not conjure portals to specific locations, I wasn’t trained well enough. Realizing that I would more than likely be trapped in here forever horrified me, all I could think about was life back in Albion, I even missed the filthy streets of Bowerstone Old Town. In my saddened state I slowly walked around the town of Megaton, the way it was built was extremely different from the building in Albion; they used metal to build their towns, in Albion metal was used for swords, bullets and guns, never for building. Eventually I came across a place called “Moriarty’s Saloon” I had never heard of a Saloon before but with the pvssyr inside and the strange sounding music I was reminded of the Cow and Corset, Bowerstone’s finest tavern. Maybe a Saloon was something similar to a tavern; I opened the door and entered the Saloon to see crowds of people having a good time, most of them drunk. I looked to see who the bartender was and saw a horrifying creature, it looked like a human but its skin was flakey and a variety of gross colors.

I approached the creature hoping to get some more information and maybe a job, it was hard to look at the thing but the information it had most likely had would be worth it. Luckily a seat was available right in front of the bar counter, I sat down and began a conversation with the creature. “Hello, um, I was hoping you could provide me with some information?” I said politely. The creature looked at me for a few second and then burst out in laughter, “People think I sound funny, do you hear yourself?” laughed the creature, he had a masculine voice so I assumed he was a male. “You’re the one talking funny, now please I asked you a question, can you help me?” The creature stopped laughing but kept a smirk on his face, he looked around like he was looking for someone and then looked back at me, “Moriarty’s not around so we can talk, and I got to say your accents funnier than Moriarty’s. “Um, thanks?” I replied confused.

“So what do you want to know?” asked the creature, I didn’t really know myself but money was a good thing to have, “Do you know where I can make some money?” I asked. The creature started to laugh again, “A mercenary asking where he can make some money, this day keeps getting funnier!” I was very annoyed with the man’s response; once again I was confused as a mercenary because of the jumpsuit I was wearing. “I’m not a mercenary; I traded my old clothes for this suit, now would you kindly answer my question?” the creature stopped his laughing once again, “You won’t be making any caps here, Moriarty isn’t hiring. You can check out Craterside Supplies or maybe just stay around the Saloon for a few days, sooner than later a mercenary or someone will pop up looking for someone to do something.” The creatures information was helpful, caps were obviously there form of currency but I had no idea what they looked like and I still needed to know where this Craterside Supplies store was, I didn’t feel like wandering aimlessly around like I had been before. “Where is this Craterside Supplies?” I asked. “You’re kidding right? It’s on the right side of the crater, hence Craterside Supplies.” I remembered the bomb in the center of the town from earlier; the creature had annoyed me so I decided to leave without acknowledging him.

As I walked down the makeshift railways of Megaton I witnessed a fiasco happening between two buildings, two men were pushing a younger man around and demanding he had over all of his caps. I didn’t know if I should get involved or not, I didn’t want to make enemies in a world I knew nothing about, I started to walk away but saw one of the men grab a knife from his pocket. I felt like I had to intervene and save this man, a jumped over the railing and ran towards the men I grabbed the man with the knife and threw him to the ground, I went to secure the knife from the man but I was attacked by the man’s friend, he kicked me in the back of my leg and pushed me face first into the ground. I filled with rage as my face pounded into the dirt, I quickly jumped off my feet and conjured up three will blades and sent two to the man who attacked me, the first blade went through his lung and the second went through his neck decapitating him in the process. The last blade killed the other man instantly by traveling through his heart, when the attackers were dead the man being mugged ran away in terror, I realized that if I wanted to keep a low profile I would have to restrain from using will. I quickly fled the area and returned to the common house, I would be going to bed early tonight. I laid down on one of the mattresses and laid for a few hours before finally falling asleep.

This one I enjoyed much more than the others. The characters thought process was more believeable. Two things to nitpick here.

1. There's no need to mkethe dialogue that obvious, I'm not sir if you noticed. I'd quoe directly but its too much from my phone. Earlier, in the conversation between Gob and Mr. Blackhand, you said "he looked around like he was looking for someone". Let us fnd out wy hewas looking, for he decription dosn't need to be to...descriptive.

2. Towards the end the story began to stagger, which is a shame because the best part of the tory was also the worst. You kinda jumbled a whole sentence into one confusing group of text " I felt like I had to intervene...ground" that whole entence and in a way the paragraph could get confusing. Rage is an emotion that takes time to conjure, and people can't just go hulk in a second. Even the Hulk can't go hulk n a second. The part with te will was awesom and I realy want to see how you incorporate his powers without having him be exposed to the world, bt decapitation doesn't have to be thrown into every kill. I don't actually think its possible for a sword to PIERCE one's throat and decap him.

That concludes my critique, sorry about the frankness. I love what you're doing here, and respect the hell out of even trying.

Thanks for the constructive criticism Ant1iv3 it really helps :). I'll take what you said in mind, especially what you said about the decapitating, I realize now how silly that was.

The new chapter will more than likely be posted tonight, or tomorrow morning. I realize that this has been mainly just a foreign character in the Fallout world and not really a crossover, the only Fable thing in this fan fiction is the character and will so I am going to be adding some new things to make it more Fable like.
