Fallout Factions Frenzy
One 1.1[1]

Jasmine ran along the hallway that was lit only by emergency fluroflat lights. As she ran, in her lightly armored vault-jumpsuit and badly named slipboots, she could hear the chasing scuttling noise of two deathroaches that were far worse than mere radroaches. Deathroaches were over twice as big, were more heavily armored and had very nasty claw-tentacles, one on each side, along with a single claw-mouth. Jasmine was one of those who believed that deathroaches had been genetically engineered using radroaches as a basis.

She leapt effortlessly upwards, caught a cross-beam and swung herself up out of harms way. There was a burst of laser beams, pencil thin and deadly, that killed the deathroaches almost at once. It was too bad that TekVault0101 had only a relatively few such weapons that were very effective against deathroaches. Radroaches were tough but not berserker mad, like deathroaches, and tended to ran away if they could.

The beautiful young woman dropped down to the metallic floor and turned to her triplet brother, Jadekin, who was in many ways like her. He had fired the laser-pistol with deadly accuracy, no wastage of energy and precise hits on vulnerable spots on the deathroaches. The triplets were granted big bonuses for they were one of the five best exterminator teams. The third was a neobaby, Joggian, in a special armored pouch on Jadekin's front. She was small, chubby muscular, surprisingly touch and was highly psychic-empathic as were many older neobabies. It was she who very often 'sensed' the presence of deathroaches even before the other two detected them and the deathroaches attacked.

They went to the deathroaches and began to tag them.

Which was when a drunken, aggressive, voice spoke to them. "Trying to steal my kills, I see!"

Brand stood there, almost falling over, a heavy muscular thug in a casual jumpsuit that was supposedly vault fashionable; it looked ridiculous, especially on him because it went against his general build and the colors of his skin and hair. He casually held a powerful revolver in one hand, a Remington 10mm Caseless Heavy Power B1B1. It most likely belonged to Brand's father who collected PreDoomsday guns and other PreD antiques. Brand Stallone belonged to one of the Elite Families of TekVault0101 and assumed that meant he could do just anything he wanted to do but he was wrong. He was holding the gun in a very amateurish fashion. He was in danger of shooting himself in the foot since he had the safety off and the gun was fully loaded.

Two thugs stood grinning behind him being the Brick Brothers. It was said one was 'as thick as a brick' and the other was 'thicker than a brick'. The slightly smarter one was Davie and the other low hulking, heavy muscular thug was Donnie. They were well known as petty criminals exiled to the Rimzone and they should not have been there. The triplets knew, Joggian in an empathic fashion, that Brand wanted to kill them because of hurt pride. He had demanded that Jadekin be his girl friend and when she had refused he had tried to molest her; she had bashed him and, later, Jadekin had done the same. Because the triplets were very popular, and Brand was the opposite, the fool had suffered socially for his actions and that meant a great deal in an enclosed vault society.

Fallout Factions Frenzy

One 2.2[2]

Jadekin raised his laser-pistol and killed the three young men very quickly with a laser beam shot to the forehead of each one. The three fell heavily to the metallic floor. Then the pair moved quickly, professionally, to deal with the bodies as if they had done this sort of thing before; they had done so for they were TekIlliminators, that is TekCorp professional assassins. There was still a TekCorp presence, and more general influence, in the vault. The whole lot was now known as VaultCorp0101 officially or just VaultCorp, the remnants of various TekCorps having been combined. But VaultCorp did not control the actions of, did not contract and subcontract, any TekIlliminators. Instead it was the Security Overseer Ted Bondi who did so, that not being his real name.

They made the scene look as much like a robbery as possible. They robbed anything of any real value, even footwear and jumpsuits, leaving the three dead fools stripped down to their underwear. Some things they took were not of any real valuable but they wanted it to look as if the robbers were in a big hurry and just grabbed anything, everything, that they could. They stole the powerful pistol and some loose bullets, vault-credit cards and coins (most of it from Brand), golden rings from Brand, wallets mostly stuffed with useless stuff, IDsmartcards, ration-booklets, transportation-booklets, vault passports and other items that could be usefully altered. Being double agents, the pair would make sure the rebels got all of it. It was a very dangerous game that they played and they wanted out because they no longer trusted the rebel leader or his cronies. There were other reasons!

The bodies would be discovered soon enough by scavengers, runners, maintenance workers or others who were often in the area including smart-robots as controlled by ZAXTV0101, the smart-computer, supercomputer, network-system of network-systems that ran most of the autorobotics of the vault. There were also dumb-robots, dumb-androids and smart-androids along with smart-turrets and dumb-watchers but all of them were not in the more isolated areas for good reasons. Some were too vulnerable and some were in too few numbers despite the vault autorobotic industry manufacturing what it could.

It was the neobaby who 'sensed' the coming threat first. "Bad things coming! Runaway!"

Then Jasmine, and Jadekin, 'sensed' the approaching threat and it 'felt' very bad. All three triplets were psykers and had strong psychic and even psionic abilities. But 'something' told them they were not ready to confront what was coming for they did not have the proper equipment or even numbers. They moved real quick and soon were in a small, fast, electric vehicle humming along. It was fully enclosed and lightly armored, being an armacar. As TekIlliminators they had permission to use such equipment though official TekIlliminators were not assassins.
