just a thought, I really want to see my stats, perks and specials carry over to fallout 4. maby after you beat the FO4 for a bonus it will give you back you stats from the FO3 and let you roam around the map, Because it was a little [censored] retarded after you beat FO3 you cant just roam and do what ever you want. after i beat it im sick of helping kids find there dad just let me blow [censored] up.

There's DLC coming. Those hopeful among us are pretending it has been confirmed for Christmas, but it hasn't really.

thing is, I already beat the game on hard now I'm just roaming. I love this game but after it had its run you cant help to think of what will be in the next Fallout

If they let you roll over then they would have one hell of a headache balancing the game out.

It would either be to hard at the start for new characters or it would be to easy for characters being rolled over.


Not to mention the fact that some players would be bringing over "modded" player characters which would cause incompatibilities.

Bethesda were stupid for that ending.. I mean hello Mass Effect did this.. Why not jump on too.. but Nooooooooooo.

no i dont mean roll-over the stats for the campaign or story mode. after you beat it and when your just roaming around. like mercenaries for the original xbox when you restarted the game you get the money you earned from the last time. and for the balance your not going to be over powered if you carry over small guns, energy and big gun, you cant use two guns at the same time, but for the perks you can just be a true gamer and play on the hardest difficulty .

Well... considering other main characters die right in front of your eyes(not naming names for spoiler purpose, but those that played KNOW who I am talking about) and *poof* there they are later in the game you just might see yourself there later.

As for what skills... well lets hope to f*n god that history doesn't repeat itself. Bethesda had constantly reduced the skills in their TES series smaller and smaller and smaller. They reduced Fallout's skill set for Fallout 3... so the odd's are really really REALLY high that Fallout 4 will have ... oh about 5 skills.

Like I said, lets hope and pray to GOD (or whatever you pray/worship be it god, cows, or your wife or girlfriend or both of 'em) that they don't keep with this horrible little trend

Um yeah Mass Effect did that too, you can carry chars onto the Sequels but also replay the game with your existing Character. The second play through you keep your stats, but loose all your weapons.

nice i didn't replay mass effect, the combat was a little off, i just dont see why fallout wasnt made so you can just run around shooting behemoths with BB guns after the game. the map is [censored] huge and their are a ton of secret areas.
